I saw this on Bleacher Report and cannot imagine what this writing was thinking for most of them. The writer cited Mike Blowjob Milbury!

10 NHL Players Who Make the Most Money for Doing the Least | Bleacher Report

Weber, Kovalchuk, Ovechkin and Suter are not overpaid in my book. Suter's in the freaking Norris race! I'm pretty sure that Ovechkin's numbers are still good and have been great during the course of his contract. Kovalchuk is the Devils powerplay. Weber isn't exactly under-performing this year, his team is. He's still eating up the kind of minutes that you'd expect for the money. *breath*

Not sure why Squidy is on the list, he's almost a point-per-game player this season.

/I also hate slideshows, just give me the list. Bleacher Report blows.

There wasn't even really an argument or reasoning behind having Kovy on the list.

I like to read BL for another perspective on the league, since it's written by fans/bloggers. Typically it's Yahoo! in the morning and BL in the afternoon. I switched it today.

/Slideshows don't believe in fairies.

I was going to post a very similar thing. You want me to not read your list, put it in a slideshow format.

I can see Weber only because of the front-loaded aspect of the contract. Dude is getting a shit-ton of cash this year.

Short of being the second coming of Bobby Orr this season there's really nothing a D could do that wouldn't be considered overpayment given the cash he's getting.

If you look at cap hit instead of cash though, thinks would change dramatically.

If we did that then OV wouldn't be on the list. I'm confused at what this blogger's reasoning is.

Throw in the videos that force me to watch a commercial and you lose me. I agree slide shows blow !!

I did fast forward using the next button and this list is a bit crazy.

I don't agree with the title - making the most for doing the least - this is just cherry picking large contracts. Including Suter and Kovalchuk and not Parise did it for me. I'd say Kovalchuk is outplaying Parise this year, and lately so is Suter.

Someone mentioned Kovalchuk's value on the PP but doesn't he also lead the league in SHG's ? Not sure why he's on the list.

Edit: Just checked the stats he leads the league with 4 SHG's three players have 2.

They picked the wrong Predator, how many times has Pekka Rinne been yanked this season? Isn't he making something like 7 million per season?

They only got one of the right Sabres too.

Myers was a good choice, but I would easily put Leino above Ehrhoff. Granted, he's only played 2 games until now, but he's getting $10M cash this year.

Hey now, Leino is over a point a game since his return. Three points in two games. :D
