Tim Tebow. Negative value and the jets are still paying him.

Personally, I think Romo sucks. Just too inconsistent and makes too many mistakes that cost his team too many games. I don't see Romo ever QBing a team to better than a 10 win season.

sorry your opinion is Flawed on that in 2007 Romo was 13-3

LOL THATS CRAZY TO SAY

3 trips and 2 rings to the SB

Regardless of what his team has done Ben has performed below average throughout his entire career.

Here's a few stats for his AFC Championship performance against the Jets

10/19 in attempts
133 yards
2 interceptions
2 fumbles
35.5 rating

That's how the Steelers got to the Super Bowl that year. It's pretty disingenuous to use team performance to rate a QB especially when you're talking about how incredibly deep the Steelers were for a stretch in the 2000's. You need one hell of a team to win a playoff game with that much on the line with a performance like that and it certainly wasn't the first time he's struggled like that. This is his 10th season in the NFL and he has only posted 20+ touchdowns 4 times in his career! In today's pass happy NFL that's pretty pathetic. Ben is pretty much the definition of a game manager.

Calvin Johnson says you better watch what u say.

Slightly better vertical range doesn't come close to matching fitz's significant advantage in overall range. If I could any receiver to my team (ignoring cost) Fitz is the clear cut number one. The only player with an argument I would take seriously is megatron, but Fitz is much better.

Andre Johnson is better than Fitz. When he plays. No doubt. More physical, more explosive

Agreed.

Although I'd take AJ Green & Julio down by the school yard over both of 'em at this point.

1. Megatron
2a. Julio
2b. AJ
4. ...the rest.

Lol @ "much better". Overall range is just one of CJ's advantages. Regardless, that's what makes him so much better. He can reach passes other mortals can't. It isn't even close bro, CJ is better.

CJ doesn't have overall range. He has an edge in verticality but no one goes to get the ball like Fitz. No one rivals his hands either.

I think he went the whole year without dropping a pass last year with the Rams until he got hurt and then he dropped a couple. They have something called a 'catch rate' but that factors in everything. Randall Cobb had the highest catch rate last year

Catch rate involves QB too.

I don't have statistics to back up my claim either, but you sounded like you did so I was curious what numbers were available.

I also absolutely stand by the claim that I wouldn't take anyone over Fitz to add to my team.

There are some statistics backing up Larry Fitz having the best hands of the elite receivers. But he is a lot easier to tackle than the other elite receivers. Larry Fitz and Reggie Wayne have the best hands of the 'elite' guys from the PFF numbers
