He is being black balled because he sucks.

Were any of you defending Tebow in the same manner?

He wasn't expressing his rights...he was in a uniform and thus was a representative of an organization.

Kaep sucks but he does not Tebow suck. He was the starting QB in a Super Bowl and played well that year. He has that on his resume, Tebow had a few last minute miracles to overcome 58 minutes of suck and that's it.

As posted above given the lack of available QBs some team will need a guy like Kaep. If Blaine Gabbert continues to get opportunities it's wrong to cut out Kaep based on his protests.

1- I did the make the claim but I would say it is likely accurate. I would use social media to support that. When you openly disagree with another person's claim, are you not making a claim yourself?

3- Why is it ridiculous? Did he not expect backlash? Did he not know there could be repercussions? To be honest, I think he deserves worse. Maybe you are right, he didn't get what he deserves.

Yes but I didn't openly disagree with that claim I just questioned it's validity because it was unsupported. I would also add that maybe you're right. But I could also argue social media shows me most people support him. My social media probably looks a lot different than yours. Easy to jump to conclusions that way.

Lol. What does he deserve?

Did Brady make political statements in uniform?

I never compared Rice to Kaep.

Point is they're both being shut out by the league but for vastly dissimilar things. One made a political statement (albeit in uniform but one that his organization had no discernible problem with) and the other punched somebody in an elevator. Other people have made political statements and there isn't a wave of anger thrown at them.

Dude.. are you seriously hinting that it was OK because America as a country only did it for 75 years??

And hell yes the government enforces policies that treat people of color as second class every day. We have been over this before.

Slavery was never OK; however, it was a fact of this world, done by every race to every race.

What policies?

I am guessing you are referring to racially. Even if that is so, blacks only account for 10-13% of the population. Which would support 90% disagree with him.

He deserves to have none of the money he made here.

Tebow turned a team around and was never given another shot. Oh, I am fine with this too.

Didn't Blaine beat him out?

And he was never given a shot anywhere.
Shocking - since teams usually love vintage over-the-hill running backs.

But keep faith - no doubt we wait a few years, and he'll be on Dancing with the Stars.

Tebow was given multiple opportunities by multiple teams, he failed repeatedly because he could not play and never could play. He benefited for half a season by playing with a great defense, not sure how squeaking out 13-10 victories could be considered "turning a team around" but whatever. Regardless his career was not nearly as productive as Kaep's.

Don't forget Tebow was given the chance to be traded to the Jags & be the starter. Instead he opted to get traded to the big lights of NY & the rest is history. He is certainly a very good human being & was a great college player but he is a bit of a glory hound (as evidenced by his current attempt w/ the Mets). He can blame himself for a lot of this.

Denver got rid of him even after that miracle run and even during that run it was clear the head coach was reluctant to even play him. Then the Jets kicked the tires and passes as did New England and finally Philly. He can't play at that level and he never could. Good guy, understand his popularity, but when people say he was never given another chance that is nonsense. He got way more opportunities than he deserved.

Now he is getting a chance to show that he can't play baseball either. All well and good, it creates interest and sells tickets. Until you consider the fact that he is taking the place of a more deserving player who wants to get his chance too.

I don't remember him being given the chance to go to Jax. I am pretty sure Khan said no...it was the media that suggested it. How is he a glory hound? Because he is trying a different sport after one didn't work out?

We're talking about a QB with a lifetime 47.9 completion percentage - on mostly short passes - who never averaged more than 123.5 yards a game - lifetime 69.2 yards a game. He was clearly incapable of running a traditional offense, so any team that used him had to come up with a completely different offense just for him - which wouldn't have made sense, because quarterbacks are supposed to be good throwers of footballs.

Oh, I agree he was able to try other places. I also don't understand how he won games, but he did. NY didn't win and neither did PHI when he was there. I would have played him just to see.

And here I was thinking the object was to win.

Why? You lose the respect of every other player on the team when they see a guy who can't play getting in the game. I am stunned that there are any Tebow apologists left, not sure what more they need to see.

No I am not referring to that.

So people who have beliefs you don't agree with don't deserve the money they've earned? Got it.

Tebow won a handful of games thanks to a strong defense and a good kicker. He remains the worst QB ive ever seen play.

You must not have been a Redskins fan when John Beck played a bit for the Redskins. :D
