So after another weekend of football (sorry Redskins and Cowboys I don't think you have an MVP candidate) who do you got for MVP?

Of course he's in the mix. I'd personally put him second right now based solely on the fact that Cam is playing good ball lately and is undefeated.bradys on pace for over 5200 yards, 41 TD's and 8 picks
despite the team losing 2 in a row for the first time in 3 years, hes still in the mix.
thisCam Newton lol. Really? The only reason that team is undefeated is the #1 turnover margin and lights out D that has generated over 30 takeaways this season. Going to be laughing hard when that team loses their first playoff game.
this
100%
no doubt, hes played MVP caliber QB the last few weeks...but its supposed to be 16 games, not just a few in a row.I don't really disagree, but Newton has stepped up his game the past few weeks and was the big reason they won. And as long as they stay unbeaten the voters will give the award to him I think.
Agreed. As long as they keep winning, and he doesn't do anything to "hurt" them, he's going to be the front runner.I don't really disagree, but Newton has stepped up his game the past few weeks and was the big reason they won. as far as actual QB's go, cam isnt the best in his own conference let alone the NFL.

Arizona: 382 points
New England: 375 points
Carolina: 373 points
Carolina's offense is doing it's part in all of this.
You can not agree that Cam is not the MVP. But you can't say he's not playing amazing football right now especially when you look at the offensive talent on that team.
You put Tom Brady or Carson Palmer on that Carolina team and there is NO WAY IN HELL that they have 370+ points this season with the complete lack of WR talent and poor pass blocking OL.

Yup.For some voters it's about passing stats. Newton does a lot more with his legs than Brady or Palmer and for some reason many people don't believe that counts as much as just being a pocket passer.
Yup.
Each offense asks its QB to do something different. What matters is how that QB fits into the offense, and can he lead that offense and score points.
Brady does it by throwing it 50 times a game.
Newton does it by mixing up his ability to throw and run.
Both are effective, bot get the job done. Neither could probably do what the other does if you switched them.
Some on here really are stubborn to a fault when it comes to their dislike of Newton.
