Does he truly play till he's 41?11 years $300M
Great move for now. Although I can see a time near the end of the decade where we'll see the phrase "as part of the deal, the Phillies will also be paying most of Turner's salary......"11 years $300M
Not our money haha. I’m glad Middleton and Dombrowski are going for it.Great move for now. Although I can see a time near the end of the decade where we'll see the phrase "as part of the deal, the Phillies will also be paying most of Turner's salary......"
yeah those long contracts for 30 year olds never end well. But it should be exciting the next few years. Plus if history is any indication, they will get a big bump in attendance next year off of the 2022 run.Not our money haha. I’m glad Middleton and Dombrowski are going for it.

When I saw the Phillies signed him I was like, sweet, Xandah staying in Boston then realized (almost immediately) shit...... Dodgers.....
Yankees just kicking back waiting for the kid from A ball to be ready.
Aww that's too bad. lol. You think they'll resign Judge?
Don't know if they go to 9 years for a 31 year old, and it sounds like he's got that 9 year offer in hand.
Phil’s still need pitching. Had to throw playoff bull pen games.Between Degrom and Turner the Mets have lost some serious ground to the Phillies.
Glad to see Turner leave the NL West, although I believe the number of games against division opponents is dropping from 19 to 13.

6 years vs 11 years. Also read that he wanted to come back East.I'm hearing the Padres offered Turner more. I'm sure the relationship with Harper and the hitting coach had a lot to do with it. Not enough to make the difference in money
Damn! Report coming out now that there wasn’t a difference in years and that San Diego offered 342 million (1 million more than Mets gave Lindor). Turner took less money to come to Philly. It looks like playoff baseball and that atmosphere being on display this October was a great recruiting tool. (Along with Bryce Harper).6 years vs 11 years. Also read that he wanted to come back East.
