Here's a list of guys whom are free agents (either after 7 minor league seasons or have been released - mark with an asterisk). Of this group, I wouldn't mind the Giants bringing back Bostic, Concepcion, C. Diaz, P Johnson, S. Woods, either Calixte or M. Gomez, d'Arnaud, Gindl, Puello and L Rodriguez.

Pitchers (20)
*Keenan Bartlett, rp *Zach Becherer, rp *Alex Bostic, rp Daniel Camarena, sp
*Victor Concepcion, rp *Alejdandro de la Rosa, rp Carlos Diaz, rp *Sidney Duprey, rp
Roberto Gomez, rp Joan Gregorio, rp Taylor Hill, sp Pierce Johnson, rp
Casey Kelly, sp *Jose Maita, rp Manny Parra, rp *Oliver Pinto, rp
*Dylan Rheault, rp Jose Valdez, rp *Stetson Woods, rp *Weilly Yan, rp

Catchers (5)
*Will Albertson *Luis Alvarado Jeff Arnold *Trevor Brown *Victor Cairo

Infielders (11)
*Robert Antunez, 2nd Orlando Calixte, ss Ali Castillo,, 3rd Chase d'Arnaud, 2nd
*Wascar de Leon, 2nd *Dillon Dobson, 3rd Miguel Gomez, 2nd John Polinius, 2nd
*Kevin Rivera, 2nd *Hector Santiago, 3rd Myles Schroder, 1st

Outfielders (7)
*Christopher Burks, lf Caleb Gindl, lf Matt Lipka, cf "Jose Patino, lf Eury Perez, rf
Ceasar Puello, lf Luigi Rodriguez, rf

I did not put Ronnie Freeman or Brock Stassi since they re-signed before free agency. Also, Peter Bourjos (Angels) and Kelby Tomlinson (Diamondbacks) have already signed elsewhere.

Finally, based on the number of years played in the minor leagues, I figure that the following should be free agents but are not listed as such on Baseball America: Jason Forjet, sp; Ian Gardeck, rp; Wander J Franco, 3rd

Casey Kelly has signed in Korea.

Calixte won't be returning for 2019. He recently signed a minor league deal with the Mariners.

The Giants signed right handed relief pitcher Kieran Lovegrove to a minor league deal. Before 2018, the Indians' 3rd round pick in the 2012 draft didn't look good. However, he enjoyed a good start in the Carolina league (1.56 ERA, 0.923 WHIP, 2.1 BB/9, 13 K/9) but after he got promoted to AA, where he spent all but the last week of the season at, he was much more mediocre. His ERA went up 2 full points and his WHIP jumped close to .5 points. Most concerning was he high walk rate (6.2) and reduced K rate (8.8).
I assume that he will start the year in Richmond's bullpen but maybe the new regime gets aggressive and start him in the RiverCat pen. Whatever happens, I hope he does well but if he doesn't, I hope that he doesn't take a roster spot too long from someone below him who deserves to have it.

Baseball America announced transactions from Nov. 6th to 21st and the only guys listed were Michael, Green and Jhang. I know that Lovegrove signed after that period. I wonder if the others either aren't officially signed yet or if they signed after the 21st.

Probably going to play AAA with Garcia but, who knows, maybe they go this route for the backup and say goodbye to Hundley.

Would rather see Garcia in the bigs if they let Hundo walk than Rupp, who's a horrible defender. Garica looked pretty good defensively in his short stint, and he's always had a good bat (although one that hasn't always shown up)

Interesting that all but Baez and Gutierrez has shown up on Baseball America as having been signed by the Giants. However, BA lists Baez as being picked from the Giants in the minor league section of the Rule 5.

Chase d'Arnaud signed a minor league deal with the Rangers, but what I'm trying to figure out is how he had a .253 on base percentage in 2018 when he had an even 100 plate appearances.
