These last two games have been painful to watch. That combined with an A's win over Price and the Rays (not to mention their domination of Detroit) has been disturbing.

Watching Beltre's struggles is really disconcerting in this environment.

You can't be surprised by this. 2 of our best RBI guys for this season are now gone - Berkman/Cruz - and you take out Nap/Hamilton from last year and this is not what anyone would call an offensive juggernaut.

I didn't expect a juggernaut.... I expected 3 runs a game which is reasonable expectations from this playoff caliber roster
