Michael Young to the Dodgers

I heard from Lalakersboy that we got Michael Young from the Phillies. Does anyone know what we gave up for him and what do you guys think about this move?

Its a non prospect minor leaguer Rob Rasmussen so it looks like we will win this trade.

I like the deal. Young is a good, veteran player. He should be valuable during the stretch run and playoffs. Now let's hope the BP holds up.

Silas Young is Versatile so he can play some first and shortstop if need be too. I think he will be used as a pinch hitter and to give players rest.

Young can play 3rd base 2nd base & 1st i'm not sure he can play SS but we got Gordon who came back up & Punto who can play SS so Hanley can rest also!

Yeah Young can play some shortstop and give Hanley a rest too I think. I heard he can play all infield positions.

Young can play all the infield positions, but is most likely to play 3B and 1B. He will also PH. He is good to have on hand especially if someone gets hurt. He's been in two WS so he has experience as well.

It seems obvious we gave up Miguel Alfredo Gonzales and a player to be named later. Who turned out to be Rasmussen. Its obvious the way the Dodgers backed off the guy and the Phils grabbed him up. And right after they signed him they shipped us Young. Then sent Rasmussen. Pretty obvious
