well we are ruining what made Parsons special anyways.
We literally help the other team gameplan for him.
He is a helluva pass rusher. No one doubts that.
However there is several of those in almost any draft.
What made him different was the capability to play many positions whether on the line or LB.
As soons as he or they (coaches) started focusing on stats (namely sacks) he is primarily a pass rusher now, which allows OCs to gameplan him out of the defense.
Oh & as pointed out. His attitude sucks.

okay but Dallas has 150M tied up in 2026 on 4 players (Prescott, Lamb, Smith & Odighizuwa) so if they sign Parsons at around 40M they have nothing to sign the other 46

I hear you, but you cant NOT sign the player that is clearly the best player on the team but sign everyone else. Micah deserves every penny. Lamb deserves every penny. Smith does. The other two do not

i think they've done that until they can't do it again.

I disagree. They can make Micah the highest paid non QB in the game and still have their cap number drop the next two years if structured properly. Sign Micah, develop Milton in practice and preseason and part ways with Dak two years from now when he is 33 going on 34

I know. They have to keep him next year. Going into year 3 of this deal they can get out of it, whether it's talking him into a trade or making him a June 1 cut.
