And maybe he can run a 4.2, but jesus. You can count on one hand how many humans who are alive on earth capable of that feat.

The pressure is on for their "freshman" QB to do well against our defense. I truly believe he should be struggling most of the game.

Also, he has a 60% completion percentage. I think TA would be close to that if he would have been dumping some passes off to Ameer instead of trying to pitch home runs so often.

The Maimi O Line is not good at pass protection.

Nebraska should play the run exactly like every team is doing against Nebraska. Send in Marcus Newby and Randy Gregory to get to Kaaya.

Put a spy on Johnson, which should be Gerry. I don't think Nebraska has any answer to Dorsett which means Nebraska must dump Kaaya before he can fling it.

Miami gives up 2.02 yards per run. That is 4th best in the country.

They give up a little more through the air, but not much.

It's gonna be interesting to see how they do against Abdullah and if we're going to have to go to the air. I'm thinking this is gonna be a low scoring affair.

Nebraska is tied for last place in the nation in Turnovers created.

We've got 1, and it was on a hail mary that literally landed right in Cooper's waiting hands.

We actually would be the only team in the country with 0 turnovers created if not for that hail mary.

Do you sirs even understand what this game meant to my childhood?

I was convinced that God would never allow us to win a National Championship as long as I was alive, and then we came back and won. It was amazing.

I hate to image how crushing it could have been if Huskers lost that game.

That Miami defense was loaded.

Huskers were a lot more physical up front back then. Overall more athletic. I miss seeing the linemen pull like that.

Speaking of a crushing loss. I remember having a stomach ache for about a week after Nebraska lost to Miami in the 1984 Orange Bowl. A week after that loss it dawned on me that my stomach ache was because of Nebraska losing that game!

I recall that sad day as well. Dr. Tom was really struggling to win bowls till this W. I wish they could have had a fair shot in the previous bowl game against FSU, that was big rip off there !!

Nebraska should have never even had to play FSU. WVU was the much more deserving team to play against Nebraska.

Despite this, Nebraska did pretty much all they could to come close to defeating FSU and their refs that night.

I decided to go to the game Saturday night. My boy and I have gone in the past, but it will be my daughters first ever Husker football game. She's never wanted to go, but she's been watching more football lately and asked me about a week ago if we could go to a game this year.

I've taken them both to Husker basketball and baseball games.

Miami/Nebraska under the lights with my peeps...WOOOOT!!!!
