Ok, did not know that. But, why bring in Tua so soon? He shoulda set behind Fitz this season. Just an opinion.
That was the thought but Flo felt he was ready so no use holding back. I think it came down to the oline and it's been ok.

The New England Patriots aren’t a highlight reel this year. They’re a how-to manual. And the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, who meet in their annual Rebuilding Bowl on Sunday, should be alternately sick, embarrassed and suffering a pinched expression of jealousy whenever Bill Belichick is mentioned.

The Patriots coach did in one year what the Dolphins haven’t in two decades, what the Jets didn’t sustain for longer than a deep breath — the very thing these struggling franchise’s blueprints proclaimed was impossible.

I would have left it alone but you spewed your denial on Miami's board so I took the time today while watching the games. Southie backed you but has lightened up a bit and basically stopped trolling us. Again it's a process but possible to tear down and build through the draft and FA if you do it right. Still not there I totally agree but at least there is solid progress more than what you were telling me is possible.

On another note the Steelers keep winning but I just don't think that they have enough. Maybe I'm wrong as they are doing better than I thought...

Said a million times the litmus test is next year the jobs not complete yet on Flo's plan although if they follow through on Watson and use up all of their remaining assets then it will have been a waste. Paolo will be happy probably the only one. Oline has to get fixed or they'll go no where.

You also blamed it on "Belicheat sending trojan horse Flores to Miami"

If he doesn't figure out how to fix the oline and hire decent assistants then yes he will have failed too. I'm still holding out hope that he can straighten this all out. It also bothers me that he doesn't insist on running the ball especially being a defensive coach. They were averaging over 5 yards per carry and then decided to stop running and passed it 38 times. Makes no sense at all.

In the most surprising move of Black Monday, Dolphins fire Flores!
They are now committed to a couple more years of rebuilding!
Anybody think this was smart?

Flores hired by end of this week!

Don’t understand this at all. They were 9-8 and had a really good defense. You get some offensive linemen to protect Tua and maybe a running back and WR and they’re dangerous I believe.

I asked at the beginning of this season, "what happens if you start slow, like 1-4?"
They did. They finished with 7 out of 8!

When a team starts 1-7 and then goes 8-1 in the final nine games doesn’t sound like a guy that deserves to get fired to me. I think it all turned around when the Watson rumors died down.
