Miami Dolphins Rebuilding - Again

ahh there we go! touche! .........still in the context of the 50 million things we discussed, you have twisted exactly what was said numerous times , six ways from saturday just saying....However, after 8-9 months, you finally found the post, you got me! lol you win this round.......i'll eat my words again. I have already stated i was wrong here. Im wrong again.. Nice win again. Oddly I was looking at odds today, they Sportsbooks still have the dolphins on the outside looking in......would like to see them get in

I would have left it alone but you spewed your denial on Miami's board so I took the time today while watching the games. Southie backed you but has lightened up a bit and basically stopped trolling us. Again it's a process but possible to tear down and build through the draft and FA if you do it right. Still not there I totally agree but at least there is solid progress more than what you were telling me is possible.

On another note the Steelers keep winning but I just don't think that they have enough. Maybe I'm wrong as they are doing better than I thought...

Why dont the steelers have enough? THey have the #1 D in the NFL...the least ppg allowed. the best point differential in the NFL, 5th in Points scored per game. Fairly good special teams, and elite coaching......I mean aside from the chiefs, who has "it"

They are definitely in the mix but I can just see someone outside of the Chiefs upsetting them. Either way they are doing better than I thought heading into the season. If they do make it to the bowl I'd like their chances as the NFC seems to be more down than up.

the afc is absolutely stacked. But the steelers d from last year, is kind back..........now we have the offense......you see the difference. I mean yeah they can be upset........

so can the chiefs......the chiefs lost to the raiders, and then needed a finaldrive to go ahead a second time, the raiders..........

the chiefs are fantastic.....But they arent unflappable

beat the 7-5 bucs by 3
Beat the 4-8 panthers by 2
Lost to the raiders
Beat the 6-5 raiders on the final drive
Beat the 3-8 chargers in OT

I guess that's why I feel that way anyone can be beat in the AFC almost a 50/50 week to week especially come playoffs. Chiefs just have more ways to win. Home field is also not a huge advantage.

i guess.........im just looking at offenses ....yeah they're the best.....but were no slouch, not many can compete with ours, and well our d is awesome.

regardless. IMHO superbowl winners comes from the AFC...........my top like 4-5 are probably AFC teams

I can agree with the AFC for sure. Teams like the Rams are up and down. Saints hard to figure out too.

Steelers O can be erratic but definitely has weapons. D is very good no doubt.

I was surprised that the Fins are a +79 in points scored. Not too shabby.

This is gonna sound like homer talk.....and it is.

But part of the problem with the steelers is they one, havent totally unleashed it all yet.......they just havent.......its how they roll they'll slowly roll out things over the course of a season.....

The other issue is, they "try" things, and attempt to establish the run, and get certain guys involved. They do this to a fault.......its why we start slow ALOT.......then when we say "ok , we gotta get going and win" boom, ben takes over and were on track........but, the lack of a run game is concerning..to an extent......

Yes run game is important Fins very up and down and oline still learning together. Ben is a vet but also isn't getting any younger. If he goes down that would be tough. They don't have a Fitz to slide in there as we saw last year. If he holds up it wouldn't shock me but such a tough road this year.

I just retired. Moved across country to my new home. Have several projects going on.
I don't have a lot of time for trolling right now.

Whats funny is......i believe you and I talked early in the year, about how the D just didnt look good and how to the offense looked great.....and that I believe we both mentioned that maybe they missed on some of the signings.....its kinda flipped, the D looks much better than the offense now...........

whats crazy is even though they are in right now, the dolphins still have lower playoff odds than those around them. Partially bc of that horrible remaining schedule.
Obv the bills, raiders games are masssssssssive.....not to mention the pats could now be right there....oh and you have the chiefs..

Either way, gotta be pleased with this season, kudos to you, enjoy it, rub our faces in it!

Tua is sucking in the redzone. Way to many FGs. But he is learning. They should be thankful for their defense right now.

They are playing it very safe on O because the D is playing so well. It's working because Tua isn't turning the ball over. Fitz will put up better numbers but then throw a few ints which normally costs them. Running game is still sporadic so that isn't helping the cause so it's not all on Tua.

So far the FA's have been good just Howard stunk which surprised me. Overall the draft has been pretty good too.

Tua had a thumb injury so they didn't want to rush him. Fitz is good for a game or so. He also came into the Denver game as a spark and let the kid watch a bit.

Ok, did not know that. But, why bring in Tua so soon? He shoulda set behind Fitz this season. Just an opinion.

To be fair it's been up and down all season even with Fitz. He's just not taking many risks and sometimes you have to .in the red zone. First half was sluggish but they picked up the tempo in the second half and things got better.
