If he reported it and the higher ups did nothing. They deserve the blame. But right now there’s a lot of blanks. And a whole lot of media speculation. We literally live in an era where twitter can break a celebrity, public figure etc.....As of right now Zach Smith the right guy got fired. Not saying Urban wasn’t wrong if he ignored it. But zero tolerance applies to students. These are two adults were talking about. I don’t have a copy of Meyers contract to see how zero tolerance applies there. While I do think firing Smith was the right thing to do. I wouldn’t jump the gun on Meyers

What I find to be particularly absurd is that his excuse for lying about what he knew was the he was unprepared to answer questions . . about a coach he had just fired on cause . . . . on media day.

You also have to take it with a grain of salt because of fan bases and people that don’t like Meyer. I may not like Urban but I will keep things as objective as possible. McMurohy released a text for media exposure. Not something one does in an investigation or legal action. Part of the issue here is this whole thing is being fueled by media....Which in itself makes this questionable. Like I said speculation is great for ratings and clicks. But I’ll wait for actual information and the incident to be handled through the proper channels. Not twitter/blog/media court etc.... Like I said if this isn’t Urban OSU etcthere most likely isn’t a story or it doesn’t get near the attention........
