How did you end up in Texas? How is the change?

Born and raised on the Jersey shore, but have now somehow ended up in Texas.

As for the Vikes, when I was a kid I thought they were the toughest guys with the co***** uniforms I ever saw...and I loved Fran the Man. Little did I know what misery lay ahead...

Long Branch...i'm beginning to notice there are quite a few Jersey guys on these boards.

it's that baseball mentality! My take: Fantasy often mirrors reality. And baseball has always been more of a trade friendly sport.

I'm not a fan of this particular deal for you Chef.. but it's not a terrible deal by any means. .and if memory serves, you were short at RB right? This will help solve that.

Yeh, my RB situation made me nervous. I would have preferred to not deal Thomas here, but no one would bite on him and I think that Gates was the better guy to hang onto. Having had Jared Cook in the past i'm not expecting much except maybe a bye week relief.

Ah, we'll see...if TRich ends up having a better year than Gore (whom I traded for Dez), I can take solace in that. If Dez ends up blowing everyone out of the water, well...my bad! :rollseyes:

Came out here to stay with some family and recuperate from a little heart trouble, ended up staying. It's not bad at all except for the damn hundred degree weather that finally seems to be ending. And the Cowboys. Hate the Cowboys. I'm starting to like the Rangers, but I will always hate the Cowboys.

Based on the KOTF available players, pickings are slim. Not knowing who may be available on the Barbarian waiver wire, I'm assuming that you're all set for week 5. If so, why not plan for week 6 or perhaps a upcoming bye week.

I like getting TRich, but don't love giving up Thomas. I think this deal helps Barilko more, but it shouldn't be terrible for Chef.

The thing I love about Chef is that he is not afraid to mix it up. He had a couple deals in the baseball league that made me

:confused2:, but he finished 2nd because of his relentlessly aggressive style. You have to respect that.

I really admire Barilko's moves in this deal. I knew that I was giving up Thomas too easily, but him flipping Thomas and Andre for Graham totally blindsided me. Awesome move, IMO. It never occurred to me that Sox would have Graham in play. If it had, things might have played out differently.

Anyway, nice job Barilko!
