Yes he did. I have him in another league but wanted to wait and see how he did before starting him. Question answered.. .... Now we have to wait another 2 weeks with the bye.

Holy shit Lefty! A missed Hartley FG and a Sproles fumble on the 1 and I get to 2-2.............wow! Good Game

Same to you. ..... first week that someone besides Graham and Peyton didn't have a really good game. Actually, I made a big mistake not sticking with the Saints DST like I originally had.

Week 4 Report

Chinks in the Family Cartel Armor?

Lefty and Bandit both suffered their first losses, with Lefty losing 102-101 to Samas a Sproles fumble on third and six at the Miami 21 late in the fourth stole Hartley's chance to kick and Lefty's chance to tie or win. Bandit's 141-117 loss to JDM wasn't as close, but may end up being more damaging. Bandit and Lefty are still both first in breakdown and PF, but JDM is now not only right behind Bandit in both those categories but tied with him in W/L. (Treff, who was pushing Lefty in the A League, turded it up with a 95-75 loss to Ram, leaving Lefty with a hefty lead in the power rankings.)

Still Undefeated, and This Time He Earned It

HaroldSeattle, who had no business being undefeated so far (lucking lamely into his first three victories), posted the second-best score in the B League in a 133-113 win over Chef, and jumped from last in breakdown and PF to 8th and 7th, respectively. With MilkSpiller losing to dblake 92-82 to fall to 2-2, Harold is the first to achieve a two-game lead in his division.

I Can't Believe It's Not Better

0-4. In Week 1 he lost by four, in Week 2 he lost by 1, and this week Sproles brought him tantalizingly close but he ended up with a 129-125 loss to Duff. Ladies and gentlemen, I present the tied-for-third-in-breakdown-without-a-single-win-to-show-for-it Yellow Fuzzies! (This actually gives Fuzzy a chance to add the one thing that's missing from his MBBRL resume - a rising-from-the-ashes comeback season.)

I Can Believe It's Not Better

The ESPN drone simply stinks. 0-4 and with every reason to be, the Drone lost to Barilko 88-71 to secure its being last in every power ranking category. The CBS drone was superior (I think the ESPN weekly projections are pretty suspect).

Sampernick, Part Deux

As the Niners go, so goes Sam (2-2). Too bad he hates them.

There's A First Time for Everyone

Sox covered The Foot, getting plenty from Graham and Colston to get his first ever MBBRL win, 110-103. Have a cigar, Sox.

In Other Games

KOTF
TKO finally got out of the 80s to edge Joe's Sloths, 98-95
ww beat Scape 112-110
Tlance beat Monkey 108-89

BATG
Barilko got his turn against the Drone, winning 88-71
TK beat Microwahevo 120-80

Standings

Keepers of the Flame

Barbarians at the Gate

Keepers of the Flame vs. Barbarians at the Gate

The Barbarians enjoy their first week besting the Keepers of the Flame, 1251-1229 (22 pts). KOTF still leads overall 4814-4709 (105 pts)

Averagejoe Disdain Rankings

Similar to NFL or FF "power rankings," these are the teams/owners that I most despise so far in the MBBRL:

1) Wil and his White Album
2) TKO of Spikes
3) Treff and his Fudpuckers

12) Fuzzy and his Yellow Fuzzies

As always nice write up Sir Wil, but I was not amused with your clever little comment here.

Wil these write-ups are terrific. Thanks for all the work you put in with this. Very clever, and cigars indeed.

I think that I'm in trouble...I took a look and the drone is not on my schedule this year.

To my MBBRL buds...

Guys, I can't believe how absolutely awful ALL of my fantasy teams are. In six leagues I am a combined 6-18. I'm essentially 1-3 in most of them.

But the team that is killing me is my auction league team. My core includes Matt Ryan (currently ranked 4th), Charles and Forte (3rd and 5th respectively), Cameron (2nd), Broncos (3rd) and Prater (1st). My weakness is at WR where I have Fitz and Gordon. But even my bench is solid (QB Wilson, RB Bernard and Bell, TE Cook, WR Nicks).

This team should be killing. But I am the one getting killed. Lost game one 140-139, game two 110-98, game three 120-102, but won game four 128-95 this past week (finally).

It's killing me.... Thanks for letting me vent.

Another B League trade:

Chef sends Gore to dj Blake for Dez.

Rosters afterwards look like this:

dj Blake
QB: Romo
RB: Gore
RB: McFadden
WR: Cruz
WR: Nate Washington
Flex: Hartline
TE: Finley
DST: Pats
K: Henery
BE: Dalton
BE: Morris
BE: S. Rice
BE: Chandler
BE: Walsh

Chef
QB: Wilson
RB: Lacy
RB: Powell
WR: Marshall
WR: Bryant
Flex: Torrey
TE: Gates
DST: Seahawks
K: Zuerlein
BE: Mathews
BE: McGahee
BE: Roddy
BE: Julius
BE: Matt Bryant

(This is the same Chef who traded Martin for Marshall, Lacy and the Seahawks)

I wouldn't fret too much, Joe, those are some nice scores and you should walk into a few dud opponents. At least you're not "Retro TKO" and can't get out of the 80's!

Any time you have a team consistently scoring 100pts you have a chance. Hang in there Joe, the 'law of average Joes' will prevail in the end. ..... bet you make the playoffs.

Wil,

I know my D is off to a decent start, but your Lions scare the crap out of me. They could go for about 80.
