Yes, I finally got some new "Joe" pictures and created a new avi. Took a while.

Added Joe Cool and Aerosmith's Joe Perry. And got updated heads of Namath, Pesci and Sakic. Montana and "Mean" Joe Greene are the same.

Was gonna add Satriani but he's weird looking. (Not that Perry is much of an upgrade.)

Kind of sad today guys.

My 6 fantasy teams are winless which is bad enough. But I got an email today that our ice hockey fees are due in a week. I don't think I can afford to pay until next month. And even that may be a stretch.

At 53, I know I don't have many seasons left to play with some of these "kids". Money and age. Tough getting old.

On the bright side.. that's one of the many reasons why MBBRL is great. . not only is it possibly the funnest league I'm in, but free!

Man, that was sad! I guess my motto should be "Live by the Niner's, Die by the Niner's".....................and I don't even like the Niner's. As a matter of fact I pretty much hate 'em.

One of the lesser-known fables from Aesop:

Once upon a time a pair of Sox entered a game with eleven others. Because the Sox were experienced in this game, they assumed that the rules must be the same as in other games they had played, and didn't find out about the rules of this particular game. As a result, one of the pieces Sox used in the game didn't count, and rather than being two Gio Bernard fumbles away from victory, the pair of Sox had no chance to win.

Moral: Always check your lineup.

Sox dropped the Bucs and added the Ravens, but didn't move them into the starters. This one time, if it doesn't affect the outcome of that matchup, I'm going to add the Ravens score to Sox's total for the sake of scoring between the leagues (which determines the number of teams for relegation).

Everyone note that when you drop/add a starter, the replacement is not added to your starters but to your bench. You have to move them from the bench to the starting slot.

As the benefactor of that mistake, i dont oppose the commish ruling to allow those points to count... I won anyway!!! LOL...

Sam if misery loves Company, you should be fond of the Fuzzies this week. 1-6 this week and didn't even think my teams scored that poorly (I have a chance in two leagues with Cinn and Pitt DST left but they would probably need a DST TD for me to have a chance). My opponents scored well and my guys came up short. That puts me at 2-10 through two weeks.

Thanks, I haven't had a chance to look and see the score. I haven't been around a computer or television. I went to a Scotish festival yesterday and found out that the beer there was a lot stonger than I' used to drinking.

Strange year in the NFL already. As for fantasy, the 'experts' that advised not to take a QB early are full of shit so far - - that is, unless you are playing against other experts that adopted that strategy in order to make a point of it. Brady & Cam (so far) probably are the exceptions, but if you grabbed one of the elite by the 3rd round you are probably in pretty darn good shape. It's early yet. .... so we shall see how it plays out.

At this point only Peyton Manning and Rodgers. Brady and Brees aren't winning anybody anything so far.
