Hear, hear - and whichever other leagues mean something to you.

And some trash talk for one league: TK, my boy will destroy your boy! Feel the wrath of the New Mexico Juggernauts!

Ha! Pretty bad I might have to start trash talking for my son's team, I've got Lamar Miller as my RB2 so I'll have to keep my mouth shut on my team

Yeah... gonna be an anxious week for Ridley owners. I have to hope my flex, TE and DST (+ 8 points) can hold off two very legit WRs.

In other news, we have a final: sad sack TKO has given up the ghost to Ram.

I have no idea how Treff managed to navigate that win against Joe, tied at 80 going into the Dallas/NYG game with only Witten, while Joe had the guy throwing to Witten, plus an RB.

Everything fell exactly right for Treff (including the ball falling out of Wilson's hands). Weird.

Poor David Wilson. Kid had a chance to hold the world on a string. Tons of talent and speed but just can't seem to hold on to the ball. Cost me one game - but the big question now is can he ever recover from such a disaster and become a productive back.
Will TC ever give him another chance - and will he do anything with it if he does? If the giants bring in a vet, I'd say his day as a starter are over. ... sad.

Just read that the Giants are bringing in McGahee, Jacobs, and Joe McKnight to try out and add depth but that Wilson is going to get another chance since he's so talented. How desperate are they if they are bringing in a guy that Coughlin basically ran out of town a couple of years ago (Jacobs). Wilson needs to go get some lesson from Tiki Barber who was a fumbling machine until he started holding it high and tight and then never had a problem again.

It was also pass protection trouble. Essentially, the unglamorous don't-screw-up fundamental stuff. Wilson seems to have trouble with that, which is why Andre Brown had so much traction.

Interesting first week

So that was a very interesting first week and you can tell how much of a huge difference it makes in drafts depending on what spot you draft in. In the Barbarians league my top 4 draft picks combined for 84 points (Jamaal Charles, Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Bush). In my league my top 4 draft picks combined for 4 points (Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, David Wilson, Roddy White). Playing fantasy football and golf are the only two things I know of that you can love and hate at the same time.

Shane Vereen

So apparently Ridley might get his redeeming chance earlier than expected. Just came across this on CBS's site:

Report: Shane Vereen out a few weeks due to wrist injury
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com

(1:40 pm ET) Patriots running back Shane Vereen broke a small bone in his wrist on the first play of Week 1 at Buffalo, according to FOX Sports. Vereen, who rushed for 101 yards, is scheduled for surgery Monday and [ame=""]will miss a few weeks[/ame].
Vereen played the entire game with the injury Sunday, but [ame=""]he experienced numbness[/ame] afterward because the bone he broke sits on a nerve.

So here is the reason playing in more than one league can suck............I have RGII playing in 2 leagues tonight (Suicide and Work League) and am facing Garcon in 2 leagues and Davis in one...........now, I need RGIII to have an OK game and I should win both games but still.........BTW, good luck tonight Tlance. Would love to hold on and get a little revenge for the baseball beatings I received this year..........................lol.

Joe... if that ends up being the final. .. all I can say is. .sorry!

Sorry is right. -3 points for Wilson. Lost by 2 points. Nice.

Not sure how I would feel if I were to win today? I think I won my opener against Foot last season and then it went downhill from there. Not that I want to lose. Oh never mind....

After further review I would like to redact this statement.

Well I won't give the win back, it might be my only one all year, but I am slightly embarrassed by it
