Ugh... talk about killing - I needed 30.17 (fractional scoring) from AJ Green and Bernard in my PPR league. Got to 29.60 with 13 minutes to go... and neither of them touched the ball again.

Treff's been winning the close ones here, though.

Nice win Treff. needed 15 from Cinn got 14. Had the second highest points in the league and lost by 1 point. I think I used up my luck last year when I won 3 of 5 leagues.

Well I'm as shocked as I could possibly be, not only staying 2-0, but also having high score this week. Still don't have high hopes, but the way some of my backup RB's situations are staying to pan out, maybe it ain't as bad as I thought.
Good game Fuzz, even if it was a cardiac nightmare.

Week 2 Report

Family Cartel Dominating MBBRL

The story - this week at least - is that Lefty and Bandit are dominating their respective leagues, first in PF, first in breakdown, and tied for first in W-L records. (Being father and son, these are the only two who knew each other before the MBBRL came into existence. )

Hosed Again

Tlance is second in the A league breakdown record at 16-6 and second in the league in PF, yet is 0-2 after losing to Scapegoat 114-110.

That's some bad luck, rivaled only by Yellow Fuzzies who's third in Points For and tied for third in breakdown, but 0-2 after needing 15 from the Bengals D and getting 14, losing to Treff 120-119. This is on top of Fuzzy's late Houston pick-6 loss in Week 1.

On the other side of the ledger, that's Treff's second heart-attack victory in a row.


Roller Coaster

The award goes to JDM and Sam, who both crushed it Week 1 to lead their leagues (at 178 and 149 respectively), then plunged to league lows Week 2 (66 and an epic 37).

For a difference of 48 points in favor of the KOF.

I feel ashamed. I may be dragging the KOTF down. Went 1-5 this weekend, so I'm now 1-11 in all my leagues.

I'll be active on the waiver wire tonight in all leagues ('cept Suicide). And if any of my decisions the past couple of weeks are any indication, I'll most likely be picking up (or dropping) the wrong players.

Wil I appreciate the kind words, but I'm sure the family dynasty won't let forever, but we will happily take the praise while we can get it. By the way, I send out a breakdown for my league each week also and I know how much time it can take so thanks for doing that. I really look forward to reading your recap each week.
