I've decided that Tlance was right in his thinking that it makes no sense to carry two QBs during the season.

Can't make this mistake three weeks in a row. My starting QB, A Luck, is on bye next week so I have to start Big Ben- and he is matched up against the JETS.

I think carrying two QBs can be a good strategy if you grab a good 2nd QB. In many leagues, guys will wait to take their QB until late if they are not targeting a top 3-4 QB. This allows you to grab a top 10 QB as your 2nd in about the 7th-8th round. My view is that this is a great use of a roster spot for injury, bye week or even matchup purposes. I was comfortable this year with Big Ben in waiting even if Luck was good enough that Ben never made my lineup (until next week as Luck's bye replacement). I am also happy that Ben, who has been real good, did not end up on someone else's roster.

I'm usually in favor of 2 QB's. Just this year carrying Stafford and Rivers, was able to deal Stafford to solve my TE problem, and had a "backup" who was more capable of the intended starter, so he would've saved my ass even if I wasn't able to find a trade. Helped me out 2 different ways in this league. Of course, it doesn't always work out that way, but it never will if you never carry 2

For those in position to make a playoff run, I will consider reasonable offers for Gordon and/or Ivory. Offer expires this Friday (11/07/14). .... After that, I may as well stand pat.

It all depends on your league, to be honest. With 5 bench spots, it is tough to waste one on a QB, but sometimes necessary, especially during bye season.

I plan to hold both RG3 and Romo through week 11 before re-evaluating.

In week 1, I wil almost never have 2 QBs and in week 13 I will usually be back down to 1.
