I call BS! It was NOT helmet to helmet as the replay shows. Just as all the penalties getting called against the Skins this preseason. In the previous 3 games, teams playing the Skins have gotten away with numerous holds along the opponents offensive lines that are clearly being looked over. The league officials are a joke right now and while Merriweather deserves to be under the microscope, his hit was not illegal.

When you are a multiple repeat offender, your margin of error is very very slim. He was still going for the knock out shot and did him him high. Notice how he didn't wrap up? They will call that on him every time. Compare that to the hit that Clark delivered earlier in the game. He hit him in the waist, wrapped, lifted and body slammed him. Text book.
