I never said any of that, I told you to die. Lets get that expedited as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance.

Clearly you've got Cutler's sack in your mouth... the least you can do is be a man and admit what we all know anyway.

Hey... DK... your boy Rex really panned out, didn't he? That view from the bench in Washington is quite nice.

Sexy Rexy inherited the 29th ranked Offense (averaging 16 PPG) and turned those scrubs into the 15th ranked Offense (averaging 27-PPG) while leading the Bears to the SB.

Get back to me when your hero "Big Game" can say the same.

"Leading"... lol... that's a strong word. More like jumping on the back of and attempting to drag down from behind.

He had the best O-line in football, a very solid duo of receivers in Mushin and Berrian, one of the most solid and consistent running games in football, and hands down the best defense. The only hole on the entire damn team was him.

He's been given multiple chances in this league. Sorry. You're wrong. It's okay. You can admit it at this point. It couldn't be more obvious.

Now I've heard it all. The guy throwing around the word "apologist" is still sitting here in 2013, and saying Rex Grossman is a franchise QB. THE THIRD STRING QB IN WASHINGTON... is a franchise QB.

How many 5"11-6"0 tall QB's with ZERO pocket presence or mobility have been successful in this league again? Oh yeah, ZILCH. Also, where were you bitching about "injuries" when Grossman sustained injury after injury to start his career?

Cutler had 4 TD's in one playoff win alone with the worst O-line in football and Johnny Knox as his #1 WR. Grossman had 4 TD's in his four playoff games combined surrounded by nothing but talent.

Sexy: 165 yards 1 TD 2 INT's in the SB.

NFCCG: 11 of 29 for 144 yards 1 TD on an under thrown ball to Berrian. Didn't he have like one completion at halftime in that game? lol

NFC Divisional Playoffs: Seahawks game: 21 of 40 280 yards 1 TD 1 INT

Panthers game: 17 of 41 192 yards 1 TD 1 INT

OH BOY! TALK ABOUT SHOWING UP ON THE BIG STAGE! Straight up CARRIED THE BEARS!

That's hilarious. Cutler's numbers trounce the living hell of out Grossman, and Cutler did it surrounded by the worst crop of talent in the NFL offensively. While Rex did it with a pro bowl team. Literally TWO players are still NFL starters from those 10 and 11 teams. And one is Roberto Garza. (Other is Forte)

 Now I've heard it all. What a troll.

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAAHAA... ROFL at this clueless wonder still spewing the same crappola 8 years later.

The 2005 Bears (who ranked 29th in Offense under Kyle Orton) had the same OL save for Garza replacing Metcalf at RG, bozo. They also had the same Des Clark (at TE), Thomas Jones (RB) and Muhsin Muhammad (WR). In fact Thomas was actually more effective in 2005 than he was when Sexy led the Bears to the SB... and the 05 Defense was actually better than the 06 SB version:

2005 Defense: #1 in PPG (12.6) / #2 overall (281 YRDS/g)
2006 Defense: #3 in PPG (15.9) / #5 overall (294 YRDS/g)

Once again... ROFL at your dumb ass giving everyone but Grossman credit, while fast-forwarding to today you want to blame everyone else on the team (when the Bears lose) except Cutler.

You are a poor excuse for a Bears fan pal... should be ashamed of yourself.

That means you're dumber than I gave you credit for, if you think the Bears should pay a "not great" OB (like "Big Game") anywhere near $15-$20 mil a year.

So Orton is the measuring stick?? :wtf:

In 2005, Orton had a noodle-arm that could barely throw a 10 yard out.

Who said anything about measuring stick...? Rich brought up Grossman, and I merely pointed out how he inherited the 29th ranked Offense averaging a scant 16-PPG (under Kyle), and turned essentially the same exact group of guys into the 15th ranked / #2 Scoring Offense the very next year.

Orton was literally useless in 2005. I never said he didn't have pieces in place either. You're trying to make Kyle Orton the measuring stick, which is absurd. He was terrible. Also, can you actually debate like a human being, or can you only be obnoxious like a child. "ROFL" "LMAOOAOO AT THIS IDIOT"...

Rex COMPLETELY blew up the stat sheet in September versus GOD AWFUL teams, and then had a few good games in October, and then DID NOTHING for LITERALLY the rest of his career. Once teams figured out that they could just pin their ears and go at him, it was over for Rex. Short, immobile, and no feel for the pocket. That does not make an NFL QB.

He threw 23 TD's 20 INT's and had a 73 QB rating in 2006... and you're saying he was the reason the Bears were successful? Not their running game or defense. The god damned QB who played bad quarterback outside of a handful of games?

Also, why didn't Rex ever pan out if he's so damn good? He had other opportunities.

If Rex single-handedly turned around the Bears offense, why did he take over a Redskins team in 2011 (6-10 the year before), and lead them to a 5-11 record? 16 TD's 20 INT's 72.4 QB Rating. Seriously? And he was the reason the Bears went to the super bowl. :laugh3:

From the Arizona game on Rex had 13 TD's and 18 INT's. Worse than Cutler has ever played in a span like that in his career, and Rex did it with all of the pieces in place.

If you're actually still hanging onto the "Rex is a franchise QB" days. That's just sad, but it does explain a lot.

Do me a favor DK, name me one great NFL QB that is/was 6"0 or shorter, and unable to move. Go ahead... I'll give you a moment.

Romo got it, Ryan got it, Cutler will get it, hopefully not here. Until Cutler decides that three guys on marshall means he has to throw it harder to get it to him instead of looking for the open receiver he will only make it with a great defense that controls the game and gets him the ball. Its gonna cost some 70 million to rebuild this defense.

I bet Trestman could make Tebow great.

Bottom line: In their 90+ year history only a couple Bears QB's had a better season than Sexy Rexy had in 2006, from both a statistical "and" W/L perspective combined... yet idiots like you ran him out of town 3 games into the next season because you blamed him for everything that went wrong for the team. Yet here you are apologizing and making excuses for "Big Game Jay", blaming everyone else (for the loss to Philly) except Cutler.

You are a hypocrite and a joke... an insult to real Bears fans.

anyone dumb enough to promote the idea of Rex Grossman as a good QB is the biggest fool I can think of.

Dude, shut up already. You are making a complete ass out of yourself to "prove" a point you desperately want to prove so badly but can't. You are lampooning yourself. If you think you are persuading anyone that Rex Grossman was a good QB, I'd suggest you lay off the heroin.

In 2006 Sexy Rexy put up one of THE best statistical / winning seasons of any Bears QB ever... your dumb ass can deny it until you're blue in the face; however it's an irrefutable fact regardless.

Now run along and make me a sammich, cupcake.

I'm dreaming of Cutler playing in one system over the next 5 seasons. I think he will be near elite after a season or two in one system. I,m no apologist. I can see a very talented QB that for the first time is in a good situation with talented players, a real Oline, a real O coach.

LOL, Now THAT is fucking HILARIOUS.

Rex Grossman threw 23 TD's 20 INT's and had a 73 QB rating.

By your own definition, if that's great, Jay Cutler is a GOD. He also has a FAAAAR better win percentage than Rex Grossman.

So please, tell me how you're not contradicting yourself, and also explain to me... WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT?
