We paid way to much for what we got. I really doubt anyone was ling up for a 3.8 yard RB and wanting to pay him $8 a year.

4 yards a carry equals a first down on every third down. Great receiver out of the backfield. Good goal line RB. You are looking at one stat. (Which isn’t even a bad stat). Missing the overall picture here. Top RB in the NFL in breaking tackles. Kenyan Drake got 8.5 m. Gordon on a two year contract is a nifty deal. I thought we had all moved on from this discussion. Do we need to start over?

Well, SD was going to pay him 10 million per year before the start of the year, and Buffalo offered more than we did.
