Looking at his numbers, can't say I care. Played a full 16 games once in his career. Only over 4 YPC once in his career. Lindsay is better. Gordon should be a compliment to Lindsay and should only be getting a contract that fits that role.

Word is it will be a short term deal.

Lindsay and Gordon will be fine together. You don't have to label one over the other, IMO. You use both. Does it matter from that?

He fits well in being a great goal line RB that knows how to find the end zone and offers some receiving ability. He won't wow you by any means but still gives them a little something. And at this point Freeman hasn't shown anything of great value.

The other nice thing this does for the Broncos is it helps them not have to spend a top-100 pick on the RB position.

I also think it is important to Lock's development to have a good TE and RB who can catch the ball. Gordon is a nice receiver out of the backfield. A little less wear and tear with his 4 game holdout and Ekeler taking a lot off him the past two years too. We don't need him to carry the ball 20 times a game. We need him to be the receiver and playmaker that he is.

People whine about not having skilled guy who can make plays with the ball in their hands. Then we sign one and it isn't what they want... Confusing aye!?!?

This is exactly what we need to make this offense more explosive and dangerous. We need to strike some fear into a defense. Something we haven't done for years.

This is big for us.

Well I was good with this deal until I saw the contract. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Okay. I still feel like Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive.

Gordon was a diva that put up mediocre numbers in SD/LA. If he helps, great. If not, just a waste of cap.

He's not as good as he thinks he is. I'm happy we kept Ekler and let Gordon go. He's a prima-donna

13.5 m guaranteed.

I like this deal.

I figured he would get 10 mil a year.

You gotta be aggressive, and it doesn't hold you back if he craps the bed. 2 years! Good deal.

That is pretty much any NFL player.

Gordon has been well liked by his teammates in college and in the NFL from everything I have been told. Ekeler is fine... But don't be sappy!
