Eh… fuck off.

Camp starts in less that 36 hours. :suds:

It's been a long time since we've had shit to talk about on this board. It's only natural to get testy. Especially with one poster spouting such stupid factually drummed up bull shit.

"Then, you must take into account all of the new QB contracts that will (as always) continue to get bigger and bigger. As mentioned, you're comparing Cutler's contract to QB contracts of the past. When the new wave of QB's are re-signed, the numbers will shift dramatically. Cutler was just one of the first in line of the new QB contracts."- richig07

rich- Absolutely. I just read that guys like Andy Dalton looking for the same $120M range as Jay, Kap., Flacco, Rodgers... That alone will tell you that this is just the price of business in the NFL. Also with Russell Wilson soon due a contract with a superbowl win will put Jay's deal back a little as well...
ALSO- We have to look at what the Salary Cap will be in 2-3 years and moving forward- while Jay's deal is a large part of our cap now- we don't know exactly how much the cap will go up- but it will go up.
Go Bears.

Just saw a tweet- that Andy Dalton of the Bengals just agreed to a 6 year, $115M deal... Who would you rather have Cutler or Dalton?

This is the price of NFL QB's!

I was literally about to post that.

It's just like we tried to tell Anotheridiot. Cutler was compensated like any other decent franchise QB.
