Is Bennett a legitimate top 5 TE in the league? I've had him on the bench the first 2 weeks of Fantasy Football this year and am kicking myself for it. Will the trend continue next week?

Cutler loves him down near the goal line. He should score double digit TD's this year. I had him on my fantasy team last year, and he was very solid in NY. The way his relationship with Cutler is developing, he should have the best year of his career this year.

Is he a top 5 TE in football? No... but due to the amount of targets he'll see, especially near the red zone, he could easily be a top 5 FANTASY TE.

I dont like his pace between plays. This guy is a play away from being a locker room problem. Trying to get a play run and he is moping to where he has to be for the snap is something I hope changes.

Some of his blocks in the third and fourth were absolutely terrible. If this is just fantasy, never mind, I only deal in reality.

not even close. Cutler is trying to get players lined up to run the 2 minute drill and Bennett was always the last one to get stationary with no sense of urgency. Didnt cost us against the Vikings, it will cost us against the better teams.

Just because he has made some really good plays doesn't mean he is immune to criticism. He seems like the kind of guy whose act with wear thin quickly if the bears don't keep winning. But either way, huge upgrade over Davis. Side note: Funny how quickly things can change regarding a player...early in the season last year on the espn board I said I wasn't a fan of Davis and some posters got upset.

I actually said I wanted him when he was a free agent last year. But everyone said no way he is too much of a head case. He is a head case but so was McMahon.

Started Bennett, Forte, Marshal, AJ, Gould, Bears def. In FF. Our Bear league did not happen, so I made a all Bear team in a free league. Only some one stole Cutty one pick before me, I had him queried up. 2-0 so far

Jesus, you're a downer. The guy has been one of the bright spots in our offense.

he has scored every week, if thats not enough to let you know he is legit then you have alot of studying to do.lol. For one thing he had the least dropped passes last season of all receivers.

Not really, Boso wasnt that good .but i like the way he played. probably an upgrade at TE we havent had in a long time though, when was the last time a bears player had his fist on the ground then goes to the corner to make a back shoulder catch for a TD? i dont ever remember it. Dez Clark was ok but it was 50/50 at best near the endzone for him. Olsen coulda been good but couldn't block then fumbled 2 times a few years ago in Carolina , but i did like his speed.

i think he caught like 48 percent of the passes thrown to him.

Bennett has been great. I will take the penalties in game 1, with the great hands he has shown over 2 games. He has the speed, hands, and cutlers trust he will continue to put up big numbers.

In Bennetts own words, he likes mark trestman because he "lets him be himself" Other coaches rode him because of his lethargic approach to plays on the field. Thats why he left new york. we will see when it bites us.

So far, his lethargy, isn't very noticeable?? I'll reserve my judgmental criticism for when it's actually warranted.
