OD, the problem is he's telling the truth. If Jameis is the closest thing we have to an elite college football QB, Mariota ain't even close.

You need to adjust your expectations or you're going to be very disappointed at the next level.

I am looking at Mariotas stats this year and they are more than impressive. Mariota also brought a ton of hardware. People recognize him as being a great QB.

He's extremely smart and makes good reads. His potential is endless and if you pair him with Chip it will be a force to be reckoned with.

That's his/their bullshit before the game. The after the game bullshit is 'our guys were hurt' or 'we were outcoached.' Anything but' the other team was better and thoroughly kicked our ass.' Basically, duck fans, and especially OD, have a whole arsenal of bullshit that can fit any situation...

Growing up, my Dad was the master of this. It was truly amazing. We always fought about Magic and the Lakers vs. the Birdman and Boston. He always talked some serious shit leading up to the game; all sorts of guarantees and bold predictions. Then the split second things looked bad for Boston, here come the excuses.

I'll never forget the injuries one. For some reason that only worked for the Celtics though.
