Let's go, Michigan....
2 through 10 the Valley was pretty even, if that means mediocre. Lots of pretty ordinary basketball and there's plenty of room for good recruits to step in right away at at least 3 programs. Maybe this LIC run will help the conference. There is also some talk about adding 2 more teams. Not sure where that is headed. They were back in the day with Creighton, Wichita State and when Southern Illinois was good. It's hard to lose 2 flagship programs. The MVC simply wasn't a good conference this year. Probably the worst it's been this century(you could argue 2008 IMO). Still credit to Loyola, they are a good team.
Loyola struggled throughout the conference tourneyZ. Conference is tough. Hope porter comes back. A lot of guys coming back2 through 10 the Valley was pretty even, if that means mediocre. Having parity in a conference doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing, if that conference has proven itself outside of the conference. It just isn't a good look for the conference as a whole when the 2 teams that tied for 2nd had OOC losses to the 7th place team in the OVC, the 6th place team in the A-10, the 5th place team in the Big South, and really no good wins to speak of. Drags down the RPI, and the worse case scenario happens where this isn't much separation after Loyola.

That's a noble fight, but the TV execs already figured out that those teams have just as much chance of losing the first weekend of the tourney, when 34 teams go home anyway. So let's at least sell a few more tickets to the larger fanbases.Instead of Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama, we should've had St. Mary's, South Dakota and Middle Tennessee State or Western Kentucky or Vermont. You know, a team who actually did good during the regular season.
I think we may see Drake bounce back to the floor again.Loyola struggled throughout the conference tourneyZ. Conference is tough. Hope porter comes back. A lot of guys coming back
If either of these two teams play like this next week against Loyola, they are going to get blown the fuck out.Seriously, wtf if Wagner doing out there launching threes?
Guards have to takeover. FSU has terrible ball handling and their guard play is bad. They are a slightly better version of Cuse.Michigan taking control of this game.
