I'm not sure what to make of this tournament. Are there no great teams or is this just some crazy flukes?

Nope had FSU losing to Xavier. Loyola pick in the final 4 looks salty right now. Too bad I had Sparty going far..

Why unwatchable? There is a whole swath of College B Ball fans that don't particularly care to see Kansas, Villanova, Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky play in or win another...

I mean I realize the bandwagons for some of these teams are probably bigger than the base of casual fans, but "unwatchable" is not the term I'd use.

I'm with ya, I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of fresh blood in the FF. The problem now is, so many other top teams are out of it, it might be easier for teams like Kansas, Kentucky Villanova, and the winner of Duke/Syracuse to make the finals. Have to keep hoping for some more upsets

It’s funny. I looked at my bracket right before the tourney started, and said that I was a sucker for once again going with the schools that let me down every year.

I'm thinking the argument is you might get some seriously ugly basketball like VCU/Butler in 2011.

That game set basketball back decades. has to be a record for most airballs in a national semifinal.

Because as a college basketball fan, you know who is playing in the game.

I've watched more college basketball than the vast majority of people here this year, which is no small feat, and I cannot name a single player from Nevada.

I have no allegiance to Duke but I want to see them play because I know who is on their team and I know their style of play. Same with Kansas, Kentucky, and Michigan and Gonzaga.

If you're just a casual fan and you don't know any of the players from any team, then yea I guess it doesn't matter. But then, why would you even care? It's like my girlfriend watching the Superbowl. It could be Dallas versus New England or Sandusky versus Boise and she wouldn't know the difference.
