Times like this is when I think to myself "were all of those upsets worth it" lol

Call me crazy but I only 3 or 4 teams who can win the title from those 16

If the favorites can pull through at this point, there's still a chance for a really good final 4.

There's also an outside chance it'll be a totally unwatchable Final 4, like Nevada, Florida State, Kansas, Purdue.

True. We need either a Kentucky vs Michigan or Kentucky vs Gonzaga final 4 on that side of the bracket. As for the other side, most of the top teams are still standing except Michigan State so we should get a final 4 matchup on that side

I can sympathize with him, though I've had years of disappointments to temper my expectations.

College basketball rips your heart out like no other sport. The NBA NFL and MLB are all way more predictable, and IMO ... way less adrenaline fueled.

I'll be honest, I have Nevada in my Sweet 16. So it wasn't even the biggest upset, but that was a tough way to lose as well.

That said, this is a sports forum and this a bunch of dudes here, and nobody should expect to get a bunch of back-patting, it's gonna be OK.

The UVA fans handled it well. That's gotta be one of the worst weeks for any sports fan. You think it's your year, you walk out of selection sunday thinking you're one of the favorites, the University hides (or appeared to hide) a key injury and then you're out on the second day.

Why unwatchable? There is a whole swath of College B Ball fans that don't particularly care to see Kansas, Villanova, Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky play in or win another...

I mean I realize the bandwagons for some of these teams are probably bigger than the base of casual fans, but "unwatchable" is not the term I'd use.

I'm still excited about those games. Without the upsets, the tournament would be boring.
