My friends have been trying to get me to switch alliances from the Bengals to anyone else for years. After week 4, I was like, perhaps I should consider it. So we were going through teams, and I told them, I refuse to pick a team that doesn't have a young promising franchise QB, and since I like Mahomes, I said lets go with the Chiefs.
Since I started watching the Chiefs and rooting for them to win, they have lost two games in a row and then lost Mahomes for the year during a win. So even if they win, something bad happens.
Of course I have still been watching the Bengals as well, as I can't go cold turkey, but during this time, the teams I have rooted for are 0-6, and the other team was 4-0 until I started watching them, then lost 2 straight, and then lost their QB.
I must be the reason the Bengals have sucked for my entire life time.
So who is paying me to not be a Bengals fan anymore, or follow a different team?
