Close game ( assuming that OK State and Stanford win) I think they drop to 4th just ahead of Boise. If its a blowout I could see them dropping at least to 5th and maybe even 6th depending on how bad Oklahoma beats A@M ( if the Sooners win). Cant see any scenario that they drop any lower than 6th especially since I cant see any reason anyone would rank Oregon ahead of LSU or Arkansas ahead of Bama.

If it's a close game... I'm wondering how possible it is that they could remain 1 & 2?

Not very. I suppose if K State beats Oklahoma State and Stanford loses to Oregon State then its conceivable but cant see any other way a scenario like that plays out. I men in 06 when Ohio State beat Michigan 42-39 the Wolverines still dropped a spot and that was only because there wasnt any other unbeaten teams from AQ leagues and even then they dropped behind a 1 loss Florida.

Yeah it does sort of...

There is some talk that even if we win the SEC championship that Bama or LSU might go to the Sugar bowl ahead of us.

I though the Sugar Bowl was contractually obligated to take the SEC champ unless the SEC champ was in the BCSCG?

That's the way it has "traditionally" been, but IDK... could just be blogger BS.
