And now are long-distance shooting woes have returned. Along with a failure to play D and a complete mind-disconnect when it comes to consistent FTs, the three-line has become a bane as we get a severe ass-whooping by the Nuggies (32 point difference-85-117). LeBron at least recognizes that we are deep kimchee with the team beginning to become a dumpster fire. Five for 35 from the three stripe last night. Seriously?

How long are we going to wait for Ingram to be the second best player on this team? He disappears too much for me. We dont have a big that can mach up with a PF who can score inside and out. Vuc and Milsap type players are killing us. Kuzma is too small to guard them and Ingram is to skinny to body them. Ingram and Kuzma have to take care of ball better along with LBJ. Too sloppy. If we dont see more improvement from the young ones, someone is getting traded by deadline IMO

Nice pass by Chandler to James for the easy bucket.

Heard them talking about that on the radio out whether or not they should yesterday. Basically, it was about whether or not the Lakers should look to trade him.

The consensus was that they will likely give him the entire year to figure it out. Their reasoning was that it took that long with D-Wade, Bosh and Love and they were all more experienced than Ingram.

Also, adding in Lebron changes things for all of the players and they all have to adjust to playing alongside a superstar. So, Ingram is not only adjusting to Lebron, but to the other guys adjusting their games as well.

Good point. I keep thinking Ingram will someday be like Durant and I think it is too high an expectation for me. He may never be a superstar, just a good player. We will see.

Yeah, we'll see. I'm starting to wonder if his body type will hold him back some. He's gotten a little bigger since he came into the league, but he's still too skinny and it prevents him from finishing at the rim at times.

He just may be one of those guys who can't gain weight.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I find some of the overreaction to the Lakers record a little funny.

21 games into Lebron's first season with the Heat and his first season back with the Cavs, each team was 13-8. The Lakers are 12-9. The Cavs and Heat had 2 other all stars with them.

Ingram doesn't concern me as much as Ball does.

Almost 30 mins of PT and he has 2 pts? And wasn't he supposed to make everything easier for other guys with his passing? Yet most games he has 3-4 assists

This guy should be a double-double machine. 10-15 pts and 10+ assists almost every night, and yet most nights it's 6 and 3

I think that in a lot of ways, last nights game was kind of how they want things with Lebron (although preferably without blowing most of a 24 point lead lol).

He got them off to a good start, deferred for awhile, then was there at the end to close out the game.

It's why he could be traded.....the offense goes through James.

I think it's the "Lebron effect" as well as having Rondo.

His numbers are down a bit compared to last year

Last year he averaged 10.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 7.2 apg and played 34.2 minutes per game.

This year he's at 7.9 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 4.5 apg and playing 27.0 minutes per game.

If he were averaging the same number of minutes, there would likely be less of a drop in productivity.

He really needs to be more aggressive though. Hopefully, as he gains experience (he's only played 73 games, so he doesn't even have a full season yet), he'll figure out how to be more aggressive and fit better with Lebron.

Imo, he needs to learn how to play when Lebron is running the offense. He look really good when Lebron is playing off the ball and he is running the offense. But he struggles when Lebron takes over and sometimes doesn't really look like he knows what to do, so he just hangs out on the perimeter.
