Sorry guys, looks like I'll be bitching about free throws again this season. lol

I'll bet there are a minimum of 4-5 games that we'd have won if we could hit a damn free throw.

You are right. They are horrible. You would think that would be the easiest problem to fix.

I think we are at the bottom of the league in FT shooting or close to it and our D isn't too far behind. We gave away another win at home against Orlando Sunday night and if we would improve both categories we would have won that game. Don't know what this team is thinking but some of these players can't shoot consistent FTs to save themselves including James.

Yeah, to me it's not even so much that they are missing them (although I do hate that), it's when they are missing them. They miss way too many at the end of close games.

Example, the one "hole" in Lebron's game has always been free throws. He's a career 74% free throw shooter and is currently hitting 73% of his free throws. So, he really hasn't dropped off much at all.

But, if memory serves, one of the early losses came when he missed 2 free throws that would have won the game. He has also missed several late in games, as has just about everyone else. Seems that about the only one who can hit free throws late is KCP.

None of the yonungster except for maybe Ingram are hitting FTs with any consistency and like you stated, it is when the misses come that really kill us.

This FT thing is where a good head coach steps in and finds a fix. Stop them from shooting anywhere on the floor except the FT line in shoot around's until they start hitting them in games.LUKE! Do something for heavens sake. Don't just sit there and watch it.
