I'd be shocked if he's not extended here shortly... MM seems to have all the confidence in the world with Geno...

Agreed. Geno is not the problem with this team. The trenches are. And I pray John spends money and draft capital on it.. because at this point, this team does not need another receiver, tight end, QB, DB, OLB, etc.

The fact we spent a 3rd rounder on a guard last year and he was 'inactive' in games where he was healthy is a HUGE red flag.

Te round 1, wr round two, qb round three
OL is fine, they invested last year and plenty of FA OL that can be had on cheap one year deals

Well hopefully the Seahawks learned something yesterday. Get a fuckin' offensive and defensive line... Jalen Hurts is not an amazing QB (yah he won SBOWL MVP, whatever, basically the QB that wins does), but the Eagles DL was dominant. They didn't blitz a single time (no surprise, bottom 5 blitzing team) and the Eagles OL gave Hurts enough time to make plays.

Again, it's why I was pissed off we took Witherspoon over Carter. Build the trenches and everything else comes together. Look at the 90s Cowboys. I'm sorry but Aikman was an average QB. But the Dallas OL was elite and the DL was pretty damn good too.

If we take anything but OL or DL in the NFL draft I'll be annoyed. As for Myles Garrett? If the Browns let him go for a 1st rounder, I'm fine with it. Put him, Williams, Reed, and Murphy on the front and you are an immediate playoff contender.
No on Myles Garrett. Only 2yrs left on his current contract so in theory he's going to want a contract extension heading into this offseason and we don't have the money for that. I'd do this move if he was the missing piece to get to the Super Bowl but we're not there yet plus don't have a QBoF on the roster.
