I'd lean towards agreeing with you that the team will try to resign Crabtree next. I imagine Boone's extension would be next on the list after Crabbers, meaning Iupati leaves during FA.

I think the draft showed that the team is going to choose Crabtree over Iupati if it comes down to an either or situation.

Though they might still pass on both depending on what they are asking for.

Kap is a class act. He knows Alex was a big help.

He plays the most important position in the most popular and profitable sport in the US. The numbers shouldn't shock anyone.

Next year Wilson will get more dollars. Then the next dude will get more. And so on and so on.......

Yeah ok, we will get back to this one next year. He will make more then Kap or at least the same. Only QB that really took a pay cut is Tom Brady.

Hope you saw the this thread dripping in sarcasm. This is what I have gotten from a few Seahawk fans.

Espn is saying 110. So does it have the potential to be 126?

Harbaugh has been saying basically pay this man and he is going to have a monster year this season. So Kap can slip him some $

Feels kinda strawmanish

I think people can criticize Kap and hold him accountable for his failings without solely placing the team's failings on his shoulders. I can't think of anyone who did what you're saying they did but I am certainly open to being proven wrong.

C'mon whysies, you appear to be a smart dude... I don't need to post links, just scroll back to the end of January and read through some of those threads. They actually lasted about a month and has been brought up off and on ever since. Feel free to take a look, bro...

Its a 7 year 126 million. It was an extension. So this year counts and he gets a raise this year. 61 million guaranteed and 12 million signing bonus.

He was only suppose to make a little over 1 mil this year though.

Even if it is 126 over 7 years. That's just over 18 a year. Seems like a good deal to me. He was going to get paid. Anything South of 20 seems like a win for the 9ers. What was the alternative, play out this year and pay even more next to keep him, or try and replace him with what?

We did what we had to do. And the salary cap will be going up. No doubt it is a lot of money, but we had to pay up now or risk either losing him later or paying him more than this later.

Russell Wilson's wife probably rolled over and slapped Golden Tate when she saw the news......
