There's a reason to take these sort of reports with a grain of salt. There are little to no repercussions for "reporting" these things (just say there are supposedly sources) and get a shitload of clicks.
Exactly....but those who treat those reports as gospel are why these guys have jobs.

I mean Mike silver? Really?

Yup, I have him on two of my fantasy teams. Phenomenal receiver out of the backfield, but Chubb is a better RB.

Receiving out of the backfield is part of the RB's job. 94-814-4 is a HUGE advantage over Chubb's 35-277-0.

Plus, McCaffrey has 14 rushing TDs to Chubb's 8. Chubb has a small edge on ypc (5.2 vs 4.9).

McCaffrey is almost like having Chubb and Landry combined in the same player.

Pretty sure that's just how each of them is used. Chubb is a perfectly capable receiver out of the backfield, he just doesn't get anywhere near the targets McCaffrey does. However, running the football, Chubb is better. He'd have more TDs if our RZ offense wasn't so mind-bendingly bad, and he also has almost twice as many explosive runs as McCaffrey (20+ yards).

Cleveland has used other backs to catch out of the backfield because Chubb is not elite in that area. It's perfectly fine to not be #1 overall, he's a damn fine back.

I don't hate them, but I hate the position they were put in. Freddie was clearly elevated prematurely. I hope and pray that this would be enough for the FO to see that and go grab Mike McCarthy in the offseason.
I think there is a little blue pill you can take for premature elevation.

Oh sure it is, and I'm sure McCaffrey isn't mad that he's not. He's a phenomenal player.

Not sure if you were trying to make a viagra joke, but that one missed the mark pretty badly.

Must be why he's an MVP candidate while the Browns....well, you already know.
Put CMC on the Browns, and he's not putting up Chubb's numbers. The Panthers have done an amazing job of maximizing his usage, something Kitchens has been ripped on constantly this year in regards to Chubb.

#1 in rushing yards, YPA, explosive runs, broken tackles (a metric CMC is FAR behind Chubb in), and 2nd in yards after first contact (another one CMC is far behind in). Meanwhile, CMC leads the NFL in yards before first contact, and it's not even close. He has 821 yards before contact. Chubb has 574, yet Chubb has a better YPA. That's extremely telling. CMC has a ton of catches on a ton of targets, but he's not a better RB.

sure...better to believe nameless players talking about nameless players than the players themselves.

OBJ again said he wants to stay and right this.

Maybe OBJ was just saying thay to stop answering the same question over and over. If OBJ, why wouldn't he want to leave. He has had his worst season of his career, when being in his prime should be having his best season. Playing with a qb, who is worried about what is being said about him or his commercials more so than his play on the field. The Browns aren't winning, and if he makes a play it might be called back, because he plays on the most undisciplined team in the NFL. Is it really a surprise to see the only player in the NFL to attack another player was a Brown and the cherry on top is the dipshit owner wearing a hat in support of said player, no good NFL owner would do that. So is wiser for him to want to leave than stay.

Bragging about how subpar one's team was is a very weird flex

Might be onto something if OBJ wasn't part of the problem as well. Skipped OTAs, drops a lot of passes. And, though not his fault, he's hurt and not himself.

Never mind a guy who he has said he's wanted to play with since they were college he does, in fact, get to play with.

Sure....many days after the fact for damage control. Do you also believe all the apologies made after the fact that players and coaches make at the behest of their team?

Nope, I don't. But this has nothing to do with an apology after the fact

And FTR, I never said we must believe what he said. We have no clue. It's really a nonstory as he cannot leave unless the Browns want him to. But as likely he's telling the truth as it is the report is true. Might feel different if his best friend wasn't there...a guy he has said since college he wanted to play with (and vice versa).

You get the reporter with the nameless players talking about nameless players also reported an attorney who had made 20+ NFL trades forgot how to fax in the paperwork on a deal?
