I shipped THE MUZZER to Iowa from Florida. Big step down. Running in a maiden claimer with a 17.5k tag (another big step down from 50k) trying turf for the first time at 5 1/2 furlongs for a purse of $17,600. He's in a field of 8, drew the 6 post, and is 7/1.

I shipped DABOMBIZZLE to Pennsylvania from Massachusetts. Big step up. He's running in a maiden allowance race (another big step up) at 6 furlongs on the turf for a purse of $50,600. Normally I'd be trying him on dirt this time, but after a 78 following a 65, I'm reminded of that old game show 'To Tell The Truth'. So I'm running him on turf again basically saying, "Will the real DAMBOMBIZZLE please stand up?" He's in a field of 10, drew the 8 post, and is 10/1.

I probably shouldn't have taken those last 5 hits.

Lousy performance is probably due to a red-haired Mare in the field. I'd double up on the dosage of Lasix next time out.

I shipped BIGBLUE SEVENTYTWO to Ohio from Florida, a big step down. He'll be running in a maiden claim race for a tag of 75k, down from the 150k tag he last ran for. I shortened him up to 6F on the dirt, from 6 1/2. He's running for a purse of $23,800. He's in a field of 7, drew the 1 post, and is 11/1. He runs Wednesday.

Besides, he has to earn that retirement...with blood, sweat, and tears.

if he's anything like that bum he was named after then you might as well call it quits now versus blowing fantasy money for food, grooming, healthcare etc. He's probably one of those socialists that thunder talks about.

You must think he's in one of those fancy stables. He's only costing me $10 a day. He's lucky to have a roof over his head.

You must have missed the cheap bastard memo.

POLITE MOXIE is (running?) Thursday. Yeah. Her.

I shipped her from Florida to New York. Yeah, I know it's a step up, but let's be real here. She'll be running in a maiden claim race with a tag of 100k, trying dirt for the first time (if she doesn't like dirt better than turf, god help me) at 6 furlongs, running for a purse of $49,400. She's in a field of 12, drew the 2 post, and is 143/1.

On the plus side there is a glue factory near by so you will at least save a trip.
