Never heard of Cotulla, but visualize a win, would you?
Deserted oil town at the moment about 60 miles from Laredo down I-35 on the border. Town of 3000 with 17 hotels in it. Fracking being shutdown with oil industry down.
Glad it is, got our hotels cheap as hell with them competing for business. Otherwise they charge the toe and finger also when oil guys in town.
Sounds like a fun place.
Hell to the NO! Loading the train tonight. Heading to Austin area with hippies.
LIONS STIGMA will be staying in Pennsylvania to run in a NW2L claimer with a tag of 150k at a distance of 1 mile 70 yards on the turf for a purse of $40,700 on Thursday. He is in a field of 13, drew the 1 post, and is 5/1.
BRONCOSMITTY - His 2nd race will be almost identical to his 1st. Running in Oregon in a MC for a tag of 125k at 7F on the dirt for a purse of $15,200 in a field of 8. Three differences. He will be running on a fast track. He drew the 6 post instead of the 5. He will be 38/1 instead of 33/1. He runs Thursday.
I don't expect anything until I switch him to the grass. That's what his breeding calls for, but when he came up sharp the first time there were no suitable turf races, so I debuted him on the dirt. I want to see him on a fast track before I switch.
