Depending on Fox, we should be at least as good as last year; if not a little bit better.

I am not trying to be Mr. Negative, but last year people talked about how important it is for an offensive line to have played together and the continuity needed to be a good OL.

This year -- we are going to have 3 and possibly 4 new guys on the offensive line. Do you not believe they will struggle at the beginning of the year and quite possibly for much of the year?

It isn't as if we are filling the spots with established players. Reiff leads the way with 1 start at LT. I don't believe Fox has any starts and Warford is a rookie.

I actually think Detroit is going to be better at running the ball, but I think they are going to suffer in pass protect. I think if the line they put together stays healthy and plays together for a few years, they have the potential to be a solid line, but I just have a hard time saying as much for next year with the inexperience they are going to have on the OL.

How many fucking times do people have to say Reif started 8 games before you believe them?

If its only 6,783 Ill say it four or five more times, so we can move on to the fact Peterman is gone. And put the offensive line concerns to rest.

Lol, just kidding.

I live in Chippewa Country, Mackinaw County is to my south, Luce County to the west. Schoolcraft and Alger, are the next two to the west. Canada is to the east...

We could argue semantics, but the only game that gave Reiff actual game experience as an offensive lineman was the 1 game at LT. His responsibilities lining up as the TE in the jumbo set is completely different than what he will deal with on a game to game basis at LT.

I believe you Smitty because Reiff did, in fact, start exactly 8 games. He's well ahead of any rookie tackle who'll be starting this year, and I'm betting those team's fans aren't needlessly panicking because it was a possibility that we draft an even better LT prospect this year...

Haha, I love how you open with "we could argue semantics" and then you do indeed go on to argue the semantics of blocking on the o-line.
