Chubb and McCaffrey over Taylor seems a bit off too.

There are only 3 Eagles players out of the 110 in the top-10 lists?!?

How is this possible? SOMEONE has told me here many, many times that they have at least 20 HOF players on their squad!

Trent is the best LT in the game, hands down - seems fair.
Donald is obvious.
Davante should not be a 99. No WR should be 99 but if anyone should get that honor it would be Kupp with the record-breaking year.

Myles - I'm not surprised. It's about talent too. Covid last year, the suspension the year before. An injury here and there. but last year he played in all 17 games. I think Watt could have been added to this list to, instead of Adams.

Ja'Marr Chase was ranked the 18th highest WR. So do you honestly take these ratings as very legit?

Franchise mode. They cant make the young guys where they should be because the simulation has to have them age and then there would be no where to go.

Doesnt matter even in the game though. Chase is better than a lot of the WR's ahead of him because his speed, catching and crap like that are all just as high. The 99 rating in Madden is mostly bullshit even in the game....for instance Chase is probably every bit as good of a WR in the game as Hopkins is. But Hopkins would make a better QB or offensive lineman. Ratings that dont mean much of anything even in the game is what improves to make a guy a 99 more often than not compared to a young 89 guy.

That's the way it used to be anyway. Havent bought that piece of shit EA game in years now. Worst thing that ever happened to football games is them giving EA an exclusive NFL deal. They continually put out the same piece of shit game full of flaws and bugs that they never fix because they know they are the only game on the shelf with real NFL players.

Mathieu a 94? Seems about 6 or 7 points too high.

I'd take Watt and Bosa over Garrett but they're in the same tier. Is Mack still that good?

You get to see the huge veteran bump. Madden is usually about 2-years behind when it comes to aging veterans and the grade they probably should get. Same with Mack. He is getting that high of a score off reputation. Play on the field has been nowhere near that kind of score. I would say the same about Chandler Jones. He had one outstanding game last year as a pass rusher. The rest of the year he looked pretty average.

In general I think a lot of these high 90s scores are a little questionable. Trent Williams had the highest PFF grade ever for any position last year. Aaron Donald is pretty much the best defensive player of our era. To me, thats a 99.

Aaron Rodgers is a 96? ok, I'm actually fine with that but If he is a 96 then no other players should probably be above him except Donald and Williams. Kelce, for example, is a great player but he wasnt better than Aaron Rodgers last year.

The one thing that Madden does right is they do know how to get people talking about their game. I have no doubt that they make some of these scores way off just because it will then create buzz among fans and media. I would agree that Kelce should not be above the league MVP. I mean the nice thing for them is they do corrections throughout the year. They know these scores are not even close to how most of these players will finish.

There really isnt any genius to it. If the NFL let other companies make games, Madden would be forced to produce a better product. They have exclusivity so we're stuck with it

I didn't mean the game was genius more that they know how to create buzz to keep people talking about the game. Some day maybe the NFL will once again allow a company to compete with them and force them to give us a good product. Kind of like I am glad to see finally someone might compete with Direct TV to get the ability to distribute all games to fans. Hopefully it is an online company so we are not forced to buy a tv package alongside the NFL package.
