DT Quinton Jefferson
S.. Tavon Wilson

I want Corey Littleton. He’d finally give us a LB who can drop into coverage.

They could go with Brown or Okudah in the 1st round and then, whichever position they didn’t fill in the first round between CB and DT, they can fill it in the 2nd round with the best available.

That being said — Detroit will probably give Ebron $15 million a year and then draft a RB and WR with their 1st two picks:L

It is not the Lions fault that no TE's have a top 10 grade this year! you know they would take one if they could.

I know. That’s why I gave us paying $15 million for Ebron.. Somewhere we will overpay or overdraft a TE.

Who is to say they don't have one graded in the top 10?

So, are you saying that in this years SportsHoopla mock draft you won't be drafting a TE with your 1st round pick.

Well crap.

Now, I'm even more depressed for the future of this team.

Highly disappointed, Meebs.

I think those 2 DTs are at the top of most everyone's list including the GMs.

I don't know if Jefferson is at the top of most GM's list.

I do expect BQ to try and sign Danny Shelton or Andrew Billings if the former chooses to sign elsewhere.

I cannot expect BQ to spend top dollar on a NT in this upcoming FA.

and I highly doubt BQ to be signing a coverage LB in FA either.

maybe BQ drafts a late round (5th or 6th round) LB. maybe.

With Snacks gone it would not surprise me. Although there is some depth in the draf tthis year. Neville Galimore would be a nice pick if he drops to round 3. He is the type of player that drops on draft day because the stats are not there. If you look at his play though most would say he is a late 1 or early 2.

Mekhi Becton is now a top 10 pick! :L And here it was only a couple months ago I was looking to get him in the 2nd round. No chance now. Maybe if we trade with MIA we could use #18 on him, but even that seems optimistic.

Odds are if a guy shoots up the board because of combine performance you're better off passing on him. Though there are exceptions.

His film was never in question. He manhandled most everyone. I am thinking there were doubts of his athleticism because of his massive size(6'8 360). When he ran a 5.1 that eliminated all doubt.

Haven't looked at him myself and probably won't but i've seen a lot of guys trashing his footwork and technique giving him comps to Tony Mandarich, Ereck Flowers, and Greg Robinson.

Yes. The infamous 40 yard dash from an offensive lineman.
Because the are going to run straight downfield for 40 yard in a row on the field.

You would think the 3 cone, arm length, bench press would be all the O-lineman would need to do for drills and just be sent home after that point.

The only other thing he did was Bench. Only 23 was not impressive but he has a 7 foot wingspan so you have to take it with a grain of salt.

Wagner gone. At least for now.

  • Lions released RT Rick Wagner.
Wagner's release will save Detroit $6.1 million against the cap. The 30-year-old started 40 games across three seasons with the Lions after signing a five-year, $47.5 million contract ahead of the 2017 season. Last year was his worst season with the team, so he'll likely be signed as a low-end starter or backup option this free agency period.
