Anyone got Martha's address so I can sneak into her room, make sweet love to her and takeover the GM job.
I will save us from this continual nightmare.
IIRC, you're not the only one that would take one for the team. Just in case you're thinking, it ain't me... I would rather push a Chevy than drive a Ford.

William Clay Ford was apart of the Bobby Layne trade

Before my time, but Ford didn't become a minority team owner until 61 and didn't buy the team until 63 the Layne trade was in 58

Its so hard to judge WR's by what they do in these college schemes today. But Lamb impressed me way more than Juedy. I also think even if you have Juedy as the better prospect overall, CeeDee fits better for the Lions and Stafford. He's just got a bigger catch radius and seemed to be better at coming down with those 50-50 balls.

DK will continue to prove me right as it being a no-brainer pick.

I can give you @Thruthefog 's, he's ahead of you in line for that dusty grilled cheese samwich.

I bet it's tight. Nobody hit that for the last 30 years. Just need to dust the cobwebs off first.

At a minimum, he'll be playing for a play-off contending every damn year.

That wouldn't happen playing on a Lion's team with a horrible HC/GM and a shitty defensive scheme.

You should be happy for him where he's playing now.

30th ranked defense.

Even if the Lion's had a trio of CB in Slay, Stephon Gilmore and TreDavious White, I wouldn't count on the defense being better for the simple fact that the front seven is still going to be the same every week.

Is your friend a fan of a team with a top 10 defense? Or even a 2nd tier defense I could relate too with that statement? Because when the Lions defense can make Ryan Leaf look like a First-Team All-American QB, then there's a huge difference between "getting scored on by their adversaries" and a 3rd tier bottom of the barrel defense which is "giving up the points." It's getting old watching the Lions offense needing to outscore their own defense OR the Lions defense showing up without their offense . The reality of it all is... the Lions never seem to be good enough to overcome the Dictators and their Blatant calls.

Wouldn't matter.

Shitty GM

Shitty HC

Shitty defensive scheme

Two more drafts and FA signings won't save these clowns.

and that's what we'll get.

I'm not going to hate on Martha.

At least she's trying, which is more than her worthless assed husband ever did.

WCF became "PRESIDENT" of the Lions in '61. WCF and other investors bought the Lions on Nov. 22, '63 (the same day of JFK assassination). WCF became sole owner in '64 when he bought the stock holders out.

Only cost Okung for Trai Turner? Wish the Lions would have 1 upped that offer.
