LOL Nothing there at all to indicate he is considering ridding the team of BB nothing at all. You're grasping at nothing. He states he does not like losing playoff games, then immediately states he is pleased with the draft class. The class his GM BB drafted. If this is all your hanging your hat on then you really have nothing.
Sure pleased with the draft class to go sub -500 or spend 170mill in FA . I'll hang my hat on that and you hang yours on the past. In most jobs, it's what are you doing for me now and are you worth the money the company pays you.

No I completely understand and it's just my opinion. If this was the Rooney's or owner's not so entrenched or used to winning, I would be more likely to think he has job security. If he let BB let TB go, prob be sitting with only 4 Lombardi and more losing seasons imo. Throw in him bringing back Patricia and Judge, inserting them in offense and that is the laughingstock of every sports program I watch. Guy just does not good decisions., Again i'm ok with him as HC but not as GM and personnel decisions
The GM is in charge of the draft and he nailed last year. Again we are in rebuild mode it takes time. I think most agree BB fucked up with Patricia I cannot honestly understand WTH that was all about. Issue will be stripping BB of GM duties BB might say no, that is not our deal. Do you want to lose him as a HC? Where BB failed is in not getting a legit OC, I really hope he has the stones to put Matty P somewhere else and hire a real legit OC, I do think Kraft would be all for it.

And what he is doing now is rebuilding, and headcoach in the NFL is not most jobs, shit there are only 32 of those jobs, it's not like delivering mail, or working the assembly line, or buying stocks. If you can't admit this was a good draft class then you are being intentionally obtuse. And the team was cap tight last year, I really don't understand what you don't understand about the term REBUILD.

Personally I would love to see him gone, can't stand him personally, his antics, the way he addresses media etc. Narcissists, ego-maniacs , beady eyed people are not my thing I guess. Rebuild or not I haven't seen him have success in Cleveland where he got fired, and most likely on the way out if Bledsoe doesn't get injured and another shit season. This is his 3rd season w/o Brady, not sure how much time he needs. Regardless I bleed the Patriots and will endure whatever Mr Kraft decides, he has a winning culture, not like the Sullivans we had to suffer with

Don't ask because I am not going to try and find it, but the way I remember it played out was Tom admitted that he never opened the contract offer in 2020 as his mind was made up after the 2018 season when they beat the Rams. He signed a two year contract with the second year his option.

Bill did not "Let him" walk away. He also did chase him out the door either.

The way I heard it, and same like you I am not going to dig it up is that Tom asked BB for a 2 yr/50 mill contract . Bill said no, that 2 years was too long and he would do a year by year contract with him for $15 mill dolllar. a season plus incentives maybe. Supposedly BB has it in his contact that he will be the highest paid employee of the Patriots and he makes $20 mill a year. Adding to that, TB called him up to see if they could meet somewhere to discuss a matter. BB said he was too busy and whatever Tom needed to tell him, he could do over the phone and it was that he was leaving the Patriots. Rodgers gets a little mush in GB and not only the Pres/GM but coach all fly down off-season to Cali individually to keep AR there. Not saying anyone has to kiss ass, but after a 20 yr relationship, he didn't have the decency to meet him? He was jerked after the Jimmy G incident, just like things got sour with his mentor Parcells for many years. Parcells had him as DC in NY. He then goes to the Browns, gets axed after 5 years and Parcells brings him to NE. Parcells goes to the Jets, takes BB with him, gives him the HC job. BB resigns that position on a piece of tissue paper. And you all remember how McDaniels (Hoody Jr) did Indy.

Maybe he made offers that were turned down, maybe the available candidates appeared to be even worse.
Who knows.
Supposedly to save money and not give Patricia the actual title, part of their contracts were still being absorbed by Detroit and NY for Judge

Ohh well shit that makes perfect sense. You don't like the way he handles the media so by all means there could be not better reason to get rid of him. Oyyy. He handles the media perfectly, he knows not to trust the media so he gives them nothing, that's just smart. In all honesty you come off like a spoiled little bitch, three seasons is not a lot of time. He keeps getting robbed of coaches, is cap tight you are so use to winning all the time you have forgotten how to lose.

Oyy vey oyy vey I have been around people for a long time and a beady eye guy who looks down, is not to be trusted unless they are on the spectrum or worse. Bottom line is the guy is a .477 coach in 10 years with 1 playoff win w/o 1 player TB. All his ex-coaches end up being bust outs, how good of a trainer , or choice of personnel be. And yes I judge a man by the company he keeps and he keeps creeps in his circle.
As far as the media, can get away being smug, pompous, arrogant and not forth coming if you are winning, which he has not. And seeing you throw around the word idiot like above, no wonder you like Bill

So he is .663 all time and the coaches that get pulled away from him don't fare well. Seems to me to speak volumes of how good a coach he is. And your personal beliefs of how someone looks have zero to do with any of this. so honestly just drop it

Tom Brady gets pulled away from him and he goes back to be a mediocre coach. Guys like Reid win with McNabbs, Vicks, Smiths etc. Brady was the only difference in his 5-13 team and they won the SB. He goes down in 08 and with that 18-1 team, he misses the playoffs. 2020 misses playoffs and last year after spending a king's ransom he gets blown out by 30 to Buffalo. I got it, there are Scarecrows , Lions and tin man that he believe in OZ, but I'm from the show me city, Providence and he hasn't shown it.

So the Bucs have the same record as the Pats this year is it all Brady's fall they are so sub par? What Kings Ransome are you are blabbering about?

TB left of his own accord he was not driven out. Did you notice he did not sign with the Lions, or Commanders, or Houston? No he went to a loaded team in an effort to get another ring. TB left b/c he knew the Pats were in rebuild mode, he knew he was aging and wanted another shot at glory.

You seem to think rebuild can be done in a year or two that is not the case. How much cap room did BB have last year? When BB brought in Judon, Henry and Smith it was widely considered good moves, he failed with Camella but who did he really have ready to replace TB12?

Guy is 45 stop it. WTF would he go to a shit town or team like Detroit or others., it was never about the $ but always about winning. Guy would train like an animal off-season while BB so BB could go on his boat named 8 rings.. As we get older do we go to FL, Cali etc or all decide to move to Maine , NJ etc. Sure they had talent but were 7-9 the season before, haven't been to the playoffs in 15 years or so and worst win % of any team in the 4 major groups. Keep grasping for Billy Bob Belichick. This guy took discounts since 07 to get Moss in and continued to do so, while other QB's handcuff the team, he probably left 100 mill on the table. And the first time BB drafts an offensive weapon in the first round, he takes Harry wtf. Guy is a dinosaur and won mainly because of Tom. I'll give Kraft 40% ,Tom 40% BB 10% Dante 5%, Adams 5%

I guess you missed the point, intentionally perhaps. TB could not surive a rebuild here, or anywhere else so he went to a city with a loaded team b/c he wanted another SB. This year that team has the same record and BB and the Pats with a lot better WR corps. BB is building a team TB went to one already built

Well, I agree.

But to be perfectly clear, it's not an accusation to point out the obvious, I still know I'm an idiot.

On August 4, 2019, Brady signed a two-year contract extension worth $70 million through the 2021 season; the terms of the contract allowed Brady to become a free agent after the 2019 season. Against the 2019 Patriots salary cap, Brady was the highest-paid player on the team at $21.5 million.
