So who is the best starting 5 the organization could put on the court? I mean best, as if career stats with the team don’t matter.

Maravich
Young
Wilkins
Pettit
Mutombo

This one is tough because they are very point guard and center heavy without a whole lot in between (aside from Nique)

Other names to consider:

Moses Malone (If stats with team don’t matter)
Joe Johnson
Lenny Wilkins
Lou Hudson

I had forgotten that both Vince Carter and Tim Hardaway spent a little time in Atlanta

Expectations for the Hawks this year?
2nd round.

They overachieved last year.

Plus, I expect them to trade Gallo, probably Reddish too.

Hunter can't stay healthy, will they pay tall Ritchie Cunningham?

Now is probably the time to sell high on Reddish. Had a good run in the playoffs. Never been a fan of his since duke
