OF the 5 sacks Kirk took today, you could count 3 of them due to Rib forking up the snap count and going too early. I originally thought it was just Morgan having brain farts as he stood there while the DE blew past him untouched on quite a few plays.

This team needs to seriously learn how to tackle, maintain composure and secure the damn ball.

Interesting nugget, Cousins completed 73.3% of his passes even in this stinker of a game. Yes he did his share to help in this loss, but before any one says he is the reason we lost.... look closer at his stats. Aside from the INT which we all expected, it was more the other 52 letting him down today left and right.

The running game went south as soon as Leribeus went into the line up. He is terrible. As for KC, that INT was a terrible throw, but he settled down and played as well as expected given the circumstances. I really can't fault him for the 2 fumbles, he saw neither of those hits coming. KC was not the overriding problem in this game. Inn fact, there was no one culprit to blame. This was truly a team loss.

Speaking of the running game, I'm beginning to wonder if we got snookered by the Boys with regards to Callahan. Because our offensive line can't run block at all (and today they couldn't pass block, either). I thought that was his specialty????

We signed De Lapuenta who actually plays center. that might be a start. Blown snap counts and blown assignments at center were a big issue in this past game.

Sadly I have to agree, if this is your plan for a backup center you fucked up SM. There should be no doubt LeRibeus is killing us. Having never played center is no excuse for screwing up the snap count 5 times, even at guard you gotta know that. But it's not just the snaps, dude gets trucked by everyone regardless of where he is playing.
