Lebron has the opt-out option in his contract after this season. Do you see him staying in Cleveland?

It is likely he stays.
But, to say it is certain completely ignores the reality of Lebron and the NBA.

Probably depends on 3 things
1) They get their asses kicked badly exposing them as nothing more than Eastern conference frauds
2) Kevin Love opts out and leaves
3) Tristan Thompson opts out and leaves

If those 3 events happen, suddenly it is not so obvious what he is likely to do.

Tristan is a restricted free agent, so I can't imagine a scenario where they lose both unless its because they're getting LA or something.

Even if it did happen... I still say there's no way.

making the Finals in year 1 has helped. I think he stays. I think he sees the potential with Irving and Thompson. Cavs will lose some players this year but overall they have a good core. I really think LBJ thought maybe year 2 they would make it.

I think he stays, their winning the title this year certainly would help.

For 2016, I expect he'll be back in Cleveland. He can opt out, but if he does, it will be to sign a 1 year deal at a bigger number before becoming an FA again when the salary cap goes up. Or it will be to pressure Gilbert if he balks at any off-season moves Lebron wants.

Honestly, I think he will retire as a Cav for 2 reasons:

1.) No team will give him the kind of power that he has in Cleveland. The Heat not being willing to give him that kind of power is at least part of the reason he left.

2.) If he leaves again, he will destroy his legacy. As of now, he gets marked down for franchise hopping. If he did it again, that would pretty much be it for all but the most devoted Lebroniacs.

The only way I could see him leaving Cleveland again would be if Gilbert did something so incredibly stupid that pretty much anyone else would leave too (which is always a possibility).

Miami can't afford him anymore now that they don't own his bird rights.

He goes to either The Lakers or Knicks.

The enticement to play with Kobe or 'Melo will prove too great.

LA can recruit Melo again. They can play 3 on 5.

If they win the title, he stays.

If they lose it depends on a few things....If he starts to see his supporting star cast leave, he is out too as he knows he cant win the thing by himself.

Where does he go? Lakers.

LeBron will be in a Cavs uniform the rest of his career. Quote me on that.
