The clear fact here is that when some white people see a bunch of black people together they think squad, posse or gang.
I think basketball team. Is that racist?

Bottom line, racism isn't as "over with" as some white people want to claim and it isn't as prevalent as some black people and the media want to claim.
A lot of progress has been made, but there's still work to do.
Racism won't end. But playing the race card is getting lame and I hope everyone sees that in Lebron's example of Posse.
I don't know. That looks like chicken from KFC to me.
I don't know enough about Phil Jackson, Lebron or their relationship to know if Jackson was trying to be disparaging or not and from what little I know that seems open to interpretation either way. However, the racial shit is absurd.

The only thing that is lame is bitches like you who play the victim and calls racism playing the race card.
Says a guy that's claimed he's fucked over 1000 "bitches". Then turns around and yells sexism and racism BS.
And yeah you've got me playing the race card and victim too?
Retarded would be a compliment to you.

I see alot more insecurity here than I do malicious intent by Phil. Tom Brady's posse or Lebron's Posse - they were both trying to hang out and have a good time.
No, it's just extremely stupid. Maverick Carter is not on his basketball team.
Notice that he highlights the "historical" definition because it references being armed, and completely leaves off the more contextually relevant definitions that fit reasonably well.
I'm a bit older than they are, but I know quite a few folks who went to high school with Lebron and Maverick. Neither had a reputation of being a Rhodes Scholar. Then again, they've made a fuckton of money, so. . .
Truth hurts
And they won- which isn't a good look for the other 2/3 of the Cavs' big 3. I mean goodness..Kyrie, Love & Thompson can't beat the Pacers???In November?
If the Pacers lose.......they officially have issues.
Couldn't agree more.A head coach in the NBA sure seems like a strange occupational choice for a racist if you ask me.
Too bad they don't put the same effort in their communication skillsI see alot more insecurity here than I do malicious intent by Phil. Tom Brady's posse or Lebron's Posse - they were both trying to hang out and have a good time.
