It's a pretty weak draft. By the time they get to the Lakers 2nd rounder, they'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel anyway. If they're going to take him, I'd prefer it's as an UDFA, but won't complain too much if they use the 2nd round pick.

Depends on where the Lakers take him.

I wouldn’t breathe in that kid’s direction at #17.

He’s not a NBA talent and the only reason he’s being talked about at all is pretty obvious.

He won’t likely be around at #55.

So, do they trade back, buy a pick or pray he goes undrafted?

The Lakers have a tendency to capitulate to their star players.

They will find a way to get it done I’m sure.

If I was Brad Stevens I would offer his first rounder for Lakers 2028 or 2029 first round pick.
