Why is an Angels player's face still on the Rangers message board banner????

The Wilson shirt is already out of my closet. Think he'll get a standing ovation when he comes to RBIA?

He was the home grown ace of this staff. You can put his numbers up against anyone else for the past two years and he's up there with the best. his post season numbers were poor since the ALCS last year, but you have to get there, and CJ got them there. I'm also not sure where all this "not good in big games" thing is coming from. His ERA against Boston, TB and Anaheim for the last two years was under 3 (under 2 against Boston). Those are some tough opponents. He did struggle against the Yankees.

Hmm, something to consider. Texas didn't get that much worse, but LAA got a bit better. Two wildcards next year.

Just saying. Those who think LAA is now better, that doesn't mean we don't have a good shot still at the playoffs.

I still don't think his production will be as difficult to replace as you think.

I'll boo him, but that is because he was a d-bag and lost a lot of playoff games. I cheered for Pudge, Vlad, Sierra and others not named Tex or Arod when they came back.

God, did anyone check what type of plane the Angels travel on? I hope CJ has his cockpit rating for that plane. Sure hope it isn't an airbus!

Vlad got one.

True. You just never know with the fans out there. I've been amazed at some of the players they will boo who played here before. Of course I naturally am blanking on a few examples, but there have been a few times where I've thought, "Really? We're booing him?"

makes me wonder about the Rangers' commitment

Why? Just because we didn't sign CJ? The front office obviously doesn't believe in CJ or they would have matched the contract at the very least. We can't help that they went to the Angels. I believe our F.O. knows what they are doing!

If they really believed in him they absolutely would've challenged LA for him. They did everything they could to sign lee. He just wanted to go to Philly. Otherwise he probably would've come back to Texas.

I wonder if the Rangers were the "mystery team" that bid on Pujols for 10yrs @ $220 million...

The team requested/demanded to be kept a "mystery"...

I guess I'll have to "un-follow" CJ on twitter now.

Totally forgot about that. I am now down to 23 people I am following, and at least 10 of them were new yesterday as I signed up Olney and all those other MLB news guys. Looks like i have 2 friends I follow, most of the Ticket guys, and then MLB reporters.

And have actually logged in to check twitter 2 times. Yesterday, and during the rangers sale when I was following Andro.
