yes, but its just one piece albeit BIG piece. it reads like you're blaming Alex Smith on the O-line, the WR's on the O-line, play calling on the O-line, everything is the O-line??!!

again, we know the O-line - yes both lines - are huge, but its not 100%.

it all starts with the offensive line. if plays get blown up before they get started you end up with X amount less plays.

so it is more difficult to analyze how good qb's, wr's and rb's are. look at gore early in the season. he looked like a 60 year old until the line started blocking better.
